My mustang boys:  McCoy and Twister, respectively

McCoy has already been shown  in Mustang Extreme Makeover and other events and has done well.  Twister has only been gentled and is a work in progress.  They are close to the same age, but Twister is a chow hound.  He came from Murderer's Creek, Oregon and McCoy came out of Broken Arrow, NV.  Hopefully they will be ready to ride by the spring.

These images must have been resized for texting.  Maybe I should take some more.

I did early voting yesterday..it was great to get it done

Cool!

Wish I could do that.

Early Voting.

Lucky girl, cookie!

I always vote by mail (absentee) and voted a week ago.  I love not having to go to my voting location on November 6th!  Yes, it's a great feeling to have it done!

Can how is your brother doing. Continued prayers. an angelic monkey

Thank you Green Eyes!
My brother is feeling stronger and his voice on the phone sounds stronger too. He said he feels he is 'finally rounding the corner'
He has experienced great difficulty w/his apparatus due to the hole the infection made.
Hopefully this will be remedied in time and allow both bro and sil a nights sleep.
He told me his head is beginning to clear and his mobility has improved.

hi all! hope that everyone is doing well.
tomorrow our subdivision is having a trick or treat parade around the pond...it is an annual event. last year there were 125 kids. safe daytime trick or treating..parents bring the candy and pass it out as the little goblins march around. The 4 grand daughters are coming out and then they and their families are coming over here for a chili supper...corn bread, hot rolls, pumpkin pie to name a few things..
what do you all have planned for the weekend?
That sounds wonderful.  Me especially likes the chili supper part!

sounds like a wonderful day for the "goblins"!

I made a HUGE pot of homemade vegetable soup and it only lasted two days!!

Home made soup sounds great. I love home made soup. Don't make it much just for hubs and I. He doesn't care for it. I still make enough to feed the neighborhood.  How you doing Caddy?
Hi GE!  Thanks for asking-can't really complain about anything.  Working two part time jobs - one stressful and one mindless, so there is a balance there.  Got to spend a little time with my college daughter this weekend.  That keeps an old "lady" young, for sure.  My son is still working on his new business venture and it is coming along slowly, but nicely.  The mutts are loving this cool weather here!!  My Auburn Tigers are having some problems on the football field- argh. And last but not least, love catching up with all of y'all and sending prayers out for those in need.  Oh, and my mom is in a good period right now.  It is usually up and down- that is typical with her- but she is doing well for now.  She is getting new hearing aides- YIKES- do y'all know what they cost??

Glad to hear your Mom is doing well at the moment.
Two part-time jobs must keep you busy!

Good morning everyone!

Just wanted to share some bit of good news.  Yesterday one of my churches had a surprise luncheon for me for Pastor Appreciation Month.  Complete surprise.  It was wonderful.  Never had a surprise luncheon or surprise anything before!
They had a box folks filled with cards (and money!) and people got up and spoke about how much I meant to them.  I was overwhelmed and humbled.
Assuredly made me feel appreciated and loved!

How wonderful for you Sister!   an angelic monkey

Good morning monkeys!

Can't believe your election is less than two weeks away!

I always vote early too.  Great to get it out of the way and I have never been undecided, ever!

Hi Bearly    an angelic monkey Are you you and cubby doing?

We are hanging in there.  His birthday was yesterday and we had dinner.  He got a new game that he loves!  Parents are the same.  It has been very stressful.  They are both in medical now.  Mom will be going home soon.  Dad is doing well, I still feel like I have to be there all the time.  He never wants me to leave Sad  He knows things there are not right.

How is everyone?

In Virginia, you have to have a valid excuse to vote by absentee ballot, and that is the only early voting we have.

Used to be like that here in California years back.  They changed it so that anyone can request Absentee and I LIKE IT!

Same here in Texas Brandi:   To be eligible to vote early by mail in Texas, you must: be 65 years or older; be disabled; be out of the county on election day.

We do have early voting, I'm waiting till it calms down some though.....My little town, the lines wrap around the building........and........I hate standing in lines....

Good morning,
Well it looks like for those of us in the mid-Atlantic and north, we are in for a helluva storm.
Better take the time today to remove potted plants, etc from outside.
Pray everyone will be safe.
Blessings.

Yup. Quite a few of us East Coast monkeys here. Sandy has me nervous too. Winds here supposed to start picking up Sunday night.

What a tragedy about Saanvi .. such a cute little girl.
