Good morning!
 
Hope everyone is well.  Taking Connie today to get our hairs done.  Yeah!
My family's Christmas celebration is this Sunday.  Looking forward to it, but also dreading the first Christmas without Mom.  I know others are grieving too and my prayers are with you as well.

Morning Monkeys

Cookie shingles are very painful. Like Caddy I have had them but only on my neck. At the time Had no insurance so couldn't get the meds. But my doctor used ultra sound on them a couple times the first week. And it helped a lot. They didn't last very long. But my brother got them this year. He was covered front and back. At first he thought they were bed bug bites because he had been on a trip and they popped up after his stay in a hotel. By the time we got him talked into going to the doctor. They couldn't give him any thing and he had to live with the pain. He did get some pain meds. They lasted almost three months.

Brandi Prayers you get to feeling better soon. Christmas is hard time when we have lost a loved one. The empty spot in our hearts never goes away. But it does get easier with time. I lost my mom 36 years ago and I still miss her. But I try and honor her by sharing my memories of her with my children.

Bearly continued prayers. You are a lot stronger than you think. May God bless you with love and joy. Your brother's with you always as you cariry in your heart all your wonderful memories of him.  I miss Trimm too.

Caddy I didn't know children could get shingles. My youngest had a very mild case when he was about 15 and I thought that was young.

Sister  Glad you got your shopping done. I did on my shopping on line this year. So much easier than fighting the people at the stores. Hows the fixing up of your little house going?  You are truly and angel with all  that you do for everyone. Have a good time with Connie today.

This is from my little town in Texas..............I really think they need to make an example with these girls, the school was cleared 3 different times and so much manpower goes into investigating these  shenanigans and unfortunately they all have to be taken seriously in this day!


BOMB THREAT SUSPECT RELEASED – District Attorney Greg Lowery Monday confirmed that charges have been dropped on one of three Decatur High School students arrested Dec. 10 in connection with a bomb threat at the school. The three girls, who are not being identified because they are juveniles, were accused of writing a bomb threat on a note and bringing it to school officials that afternoon. Earlier in the day, the school had been evacuated when another bomb threat had been discovered in a boy’s bathroom, causing the evacuation of the school. And another bomb threat had been discovered less than a week prior.

 although he plans on moving ahead with prosecution of those two girls. They face a third degree felony charge of terroristic threat. The investigation into the three bomb threats continues.

I was smart to go when I did because I listened to my body...thank goodness!  I also have a weird thing on my elbow that has a really long name...something to do with auto immune something...have to put a very strong steroid cream on it twice a week. and I also had a pre cancerous spot on my leg frozen off..lol...lots going on with me,,,
But I am doing great..

Cadi...thanks for asking about Molly Mocha...she is still a very active girl but she is the sweetest dog ever and I love her..She has the most loving personality...would not want to go back to the first few months when I first got her, but she is sure worth it...xoxoxo

Hope everyone is well -- Cookie, glad your shingles is not as bad as it could be.  Thank goodness.  Also so happy to read Molly is settling down to be so wonderful.
For those of us who have lost loved ones this year or anytime really, my prayers for your peace and happy memories.
Yesterday had to take Connie to the doctor.  She may have diverticulitis as she was in severe pain.  More medicine.  Bless her heart.  Got all of her Christmas presents wrapped.  Maybe I'll get to mine today as most of the things I ordered on Monday are here.
