The above child was kidnapped from his mother while leaving the pediatrician’s office at 25230 Burrough Park Dr, Spring, TX around 14:40 hrs. today. A black female shot the child’s Mother and took the baby.  Some witnesses say a black male was also involved and was in the passenger seat when the shooter fled. The baby is wearing a green and white one piece outfit that snaps between the legs. Suspect took the child’s infant carrier but did not take the base of the carrier. Suspect was wearing a grey sweatshirt and blue jeans and driving a light blue or sea green newer model Lexis, unknown license plate. Suspect was driving Southbound on Burrough Park towards I-45. Unknown direction of travel from there.

The child’s Mother was later pronounced dead at Hermann Memorial, The Woodlands, TX.

MOTHER DIES FROM INJURIES , BABY STILL MISSING

UPDATE 5:30 p.m.

The deceased has been identified as 28-year-old Kayla Marie Golden.

The abducted 3-day-old boy’s name is Keegan Golden.

UPDATE 5 p.m.

The mother/shooting victim has died.

An Amber Alert has been issued for the 3-day-old baby. More info. coming soon.

UPDATE 4:05 p.m.

SOUTH COUNTY – Just after 3 p.m. a mother was shot and her infant kidnapped in the parking lot of the Northwoods Pediatric Center, located 25214 Borough Park Drive, just north of Sawdust Road.

Witnesses told police an adult black female (wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans) shot an adult white female multiple times. An adult black male snatched the victim’s baby and the pair fled with the infant in what is believed to be a light blue Lexus, with the female driving. Police are still searching for the vehicle as of this posting.

The victim who is the mother to the child has passed away at Hermann Memorial Woodlands. She has been identified as Kayla Marie Golden, 28 of the Woodlands.

A mother was killed and her newborn baby abducted Tuesday outside a children's clinic in The Woodlands area, authorities said.

The woman, identified as Kayla Marie Golden, 28, of Spring, was shot about 2:40 p.m. outside the Northwoods Pediatric Center, 25214 Burrough Park Drive near Sawdust. She had taken her 3-day-old son, Keegan Golden, there for a checkup, authorities said.

Golden was getting into her pickup truck when she and another woman began arguing, said Lt. Dan Norris with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. The other woman pulled out a pistol and shot at Golden several times, Norris said.

The woman took the baby into a nearby car, where a male was sitting on the passenger side. Witnesses told deputies they heard Golden yelling, "My baby, my baby," Norris said.

The abductor took the child's infant carrier but not its base.

Golden tried to get into the car, described as a green or blue or possibly teal Lexus. The abductor drove off southbound on Burrough Park toward Interstate 45. As she drove away, the car struck Golden and knocked her to the ground, the lieutenant said.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Texas -

An Amber Alert has been issued for a 3-day-old boy who was kidnapped when his mother was fatally shot outside a pediatrician's office in Montgomery County, investigators said.

State troopers said Kayla Golden was attacked outside Northwoods Pediatric Center on Borough Park near Sawdust about 2:40 p.m. Tuesday.

Montgomery County sheriff's deputies said Golden returned to her pickup truck after the check-up and there was a Lexus parked next to her vehicle.
"We believe that some sort of a verbal altercation occurred between the mother of the child and a black female that was in the car parked next to her," Lt. Dan Norris said.

Norris said witnesses told them that the woman in the Lexus then shot Golden. The shooter then went for the baby, Keegan Schuchardt, Norris said.

"The mother of the child tries to get into the vehicle because the black female suspect has taken the child out of the pickup truck and put the child in the Lexus," Norris said.

Norris said that the driver of the Lexus sped away, hitting Golden.

A witness said she heard up to seven gunshots.
"I saw a lady fall down here in the parking lot. I saw another lady get out and I saw a guy get out of the car that the lady who shot her was driving and get the baby out of the other lady's car that was shot and they just got in the car and drove off," witness Tia Collins said.

Detectives said that the kidnapper also took Keegan's car seat.

The kidnapper was described as black, in her late 20s to early 30s and skinny with gold hair.

Norris said there was also a man in the Lexus. A description of him has not been released.

This is scary and crazy.  What if it started over a door ding.  If that was the case, why take the baby.  Surely they will leave the baby somewhere safe.  An ice blue Lexus should stick out like a sore thumb.  But they also have the license plate http://www.khou.com/news/Witnesses-Baby-snatched-from-woman-shot-outside-Spring-pediatric-center-147820445.html, it's probably stolen.  It almost has to be a personal thing, taking the baby makes no sense otherwise.

They eventually entered the apartment, walked out and later put crime scene tape around the area. However, we still are not certain whether or not the scene has anything to do with the Amber Alert.

Here is the apartment complex that they raided...I am going to go and attempt to match it with the name of the complex and see if any connections can be made.  From first glance, it appears personal.  So, my question is where is the dad of Keegan?  Keegan has dads last name.  Was this girl that killed her jealous?  Did she use to see this guy?  Or is currently?  Maybe way off...I would just like that answered.  If the girl was just wanting a baby for herself it doesn't seem that she would have done this so publicly...she seemed angry and didn't care who saw what.  JMO.
