6 Year Old Isabel Mercedes Celis Missing Since 4/20/12 in Tucson, AZ

http://scaredmonkeys.com/2012/04/21/6-year-old-isabel-mercedes-celis-missing-since-42012-in-tucson-az/

Quote
Six year old Isabel Mercedes Celis has been missing since Friday, April 20, 2012 in Tucson, Arizona. Isabel Mercedes Celis is reported to have gone missing from her home. She was last seen by her parents at 11 pm Friday night; they later discovered the girl was missing at 8 Am Saturday morning. Police are investigating all possibilities including whether she just wandered away from her home or is she was kidnapped or abducted.

These disappearances from one's homes are so suspect. It takes a truly brazen individual to actually enter one's home and take a child. I wonder when the last time anyone other than the parents saw the child? Hate to say it.

'We're really surprised or shocked that anything like this could happen to our family,' the girl's uncle, Justin Mastromarino, told the television station.

Police spokesman Maria Hawke said investigators were looking into all potential scenarios, including the possibility that Isabel got up and wandered out of the home she shares with her parents and two brothers or that she was kidnapped.

Investigators also were examining every door and window of the house for signs of a break-in, Ms Hawke said.

Holy heck... that's a lot of offenders for such a small area.  My house would be on lock down and my kids would never leave my sight if I lived there.

I came across this Kitty:

6-Year-old girl still missing; search continues

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) - Concern for a missing little girl mounts as authorities continue to try and find her. The search will continue as long as the child remains missing. The FBI and US Marshals are assisting the Tucson Police Department in the search; the Department of Corrections is providing canine search units. Family, friends and co-workers of the little girl are canvassing the outskirts of Tucson with fliers.

It all began early Saturday morning at a home in the 5600 block of East 12th Street, near Broadway Boulevard and Craycroft Road. Tucson police state Isabel Mercedes Celis disappeared from her bedroom, where her family discovered her missing around 8 a.m., and found what they describe as an open, pushed-up window in their daughter's bedroom.

I know, I am constantly checking on my phone app what sex offenders are around and EVERY night I go around and check each window and door to ensure that they are locked.  My kids are 13, 12, 10 and they just don't understand why I won't let them go to the park by themselves (which is only about a half a block down the street).  I guess it's because I read here and see what CAN happen.

Police call missing girl case suspicious
April 21, 2012

TUCSON - Police are calling the disappearance of a 6-year-old girl a "suspicious disappearance" or "possible abduction," according to Sgt. Maria Hawke with the Tucson Police Department.

It became less likely the girl wandered off as it got later in the day, according to Hawke.
 ::snipping2::
Detectives are investigating if anybody broke into the home.

Police searched the neighborhood all day Saturday and served multiple warrants.

Blood hounds from the Department of Corrections helped.

Several agencies were involved, including US Marshalls, the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff's Department.

Police have many leads and plan on working well into Sunday morning, according to Hawke.
