Source: Cops Eye Isabel's Cousin
A source close to the family claims that police are allegedly scrutinizing a male cousin of missing girl Isabel Celis. What does he know about 6-year-old Isabel’s disappearance from her own bed in the middle of the night?

Cousin?  Coincidence?

Pray for Isabel
Posted on 01. May, 2012

The Messenger office has fielded a few calls with story tips for This Justin, a sister paper birthed last week for the residents of our Denton County neighbor.

Last week, I took a phone call from a Northwest High School senior, Alex Celis. His cousin, 6-year-old Isabel Celis was presumably kidnapped from her Tucson, Ariz., home two weeks ago.

His uncle put her to bed and when he went to wake her up the next morning, she was gone. As of Tuesday afternoon she had not been found.

Because Alex is a Justin resident, the story is more suitable for the Justin paper, and reporter Mary Wendell is working on a story for the newspaper published biweekly.

However, he petitioned prayers for the recovery of his “adorable baby cousin.

Does anyone recall what vehicles were in the driveway at the Celis home?  Was there a black Jeep?  Just curious.  One of the family members has quite a bit of trouble with authority here in Florida...just curious.  I don't want to post anything about him really...because he may not be involved...but, I would like to know if he was around that night?

labubske

I am still convinced that the Moore surveillance footage will be the smoking gun and ... the smoking gun will reveal there was a staging happening when Alicia head all the commotion at 6:30 AM ... a staging that involved opening a window and removing a screen to suggest a stranger kidnapping ... a staging to protect a family member from the consequences of an illegal act that caused the demise of Isabel Celis.

Logic dictates that barking dogs would have scared a stranger kidnapper away.  Logic dictates that a stranger kidnapper did not scale a six foot wall carrying a little girl.  IMO

Could the existence of the Moore surviellance footage explain the silence and the unknown regarding the whereabouts of Isabel's parents?  Based on what was revealed by the Moore surveillance footage ... do Sergio and Becky realize that investigators are aware that an abduction of their daughter never happened and ... it is just a matter of time before the truth is revealed.

I decernment is where it is at in regards to the words that come from Nancy Grace's lips.  However ... if Nancy states emphatically that a family member claims a cousin is currently under suspicion ...   somehow I believe her.

Is surveillance video key to solving missing girl investigation?

Updated: Apr 25, 2012 7:40 PM

TUCSON - Police are investigating hundreds of leads regarding the disppearance of Isabel Celis, but one business in the area may have a big key to help solve the puzzle.

Rick Moore of Moore Security Solutions has surveillance cameras placed right outside his company--a company that is just feet away from Isabel Celis' family home.

Rick Moore said his cameras were on the watch the night Isabel disappeared.

"And the cameras that we have located in the back were looking where a lot of things were happening," said Moore.

Moore said he believes these cameras provide more information to police than any other nearby camera because of their location.

"In terms of maybe license plate numbers, cars going by - these cameras also have infrared technology so you can see at nighttime and that will help too, since the abduction occurred between 11 and 8 o'clock," said Moore.

Moore said on Saturday, his general manager spent about five hours with police, showing them surveillance video of the area, and on Monday, they were back again to review video and get a copy of activity from 10 p.m. Friday night to 9 a.m. Saturday morning.

"There was activity going on," he said. "There were vehicles...there were people wandering around. There were things that we saw and we did get recorded so that information we did release to the police."

TUCSON - There has been activity at the house where missing 6-year-old Isabel Celis lives - her mother and father visited the house separately, accompanied by law enforcement officials, and a young boy is currently at the house.

Sergio Celis arrived at the east side home early this afternoon with several detectives, according to News 4 Tucson's Lupita Murillo, who has obtained video of this occurrence. The father remained inside the home for about an hour, then left.

Murillo then witnessed Rebecca Celis, Isabel's mother, enter the home, also accompanied by law enforcement officials. After the mother left, a young boy was escorted inside the house by law enforcement.

Investigators bring family members to Celis home
Posted: May 02, 2012 10:21 AM PDT
Updated: May 02, 2012 2:38 PM PDT

TUCSON, AZ (Tucson News Now) - Isabel Celis' parents returned separately to their home this morning. Both were accompanied by investigators.

In his daily news conference, Tucson Police Lt. Fabian Pacheco said the family is still cooperating and assisting with the investigation. He said the police were not serving a search warrant - the investigators were there with the parents' permission.

Investigators brought the family members to the house "to speak with them there and evaluate the scene," Pacheco said.

Shortly after 11:30 today, investigators arrived in two cars and entered the house through the garage with a man who appeared to be Sergio Celis. After he left, Rebecca Celis arrived.

Investigators later brought another person into the home who appeared to be a boy in his teens.

At the time, police did not confirm the identities of any of the people brought to the house.

Pacheco said they are not focusing on any one suspect in particular, but "nobody has been ruled out."

Very True Kitty but I can bet you there are ongoing warrants related to that premises of the surreptitious variety that are sealed.

Story Video Tucson police detectives back at Celis home

Tucson police detectives accompanied the parents of Isabel Celis back to the family home Wednesday as part of their investigation into the 6-year-old girl's disappearance.

A police official said the return to the house was part of the "normal investigative process."

Detectives took Isabel's father, Sergio, and mother, Becky, into the house separately.

"The family has been cooperating," said police Lt. Fabian Pacheco at the 2 p.m. police briefing. "We are there with their consent to continue our investigation."

<snipped>

Detectives are continuing tracking down the numerous tips that have come in about Isabel's disappearance, Pacheco said. About 500 tips have been received, including about 100 since Tuesday.

Pacheco said some of the tips "aren't very good, but they still have to be checked out."

He said the department remains positive as the search is in it's 12th day. "We continue to be hopeful that she will return to her family safe and soon," Pacheco said.

Nancy Grace just stated that the "cousin" who is allegedly under investigation has previusly been referred to in the media as Isabel's had been or was living lived in the Celis home.

Considering the Moore surviellance camera appears to have captured both father and uncle leaving the home at 8:00 AM on the moring of April 21st ... could it be that this uncle had been in the home that night?

What did the Moore surviellance camera capture at 6:30 AM ... 6:30 AM when Alicia was woken by the sound of voices and barking dogs?

Celis’ family has no doubt she was kidnapped by a stranger.

“You don’t think anything like that would actually really happen to you. And all of sudden, you wake up one morning and you’re in that scenario. Everything goes through your mind, you’re angry, you’re upset, you’re frustrated, you’re confused,” said Isabel’s uncle and family spokesperson Justin Mastromarino.

Mastromarino said her family is a loving one.

“They’re very upset right now, mother is beside herself we’re just trying to let police do their thing and get as much info as possible,” said Mastromarino.

Mastromarino described his niece as “just a sweet little girl.”

“All the ambition in the world. She could do whatever she wanted. Didn’t really like strangers or anything like that so very close knitted and just very wise,” said Mastromarino.

NANCY GRACE
Police Examine Security Camera Video in Isabel Celis Disappearance
Aired April 27, 2012 - 20:00   ET

GRACE:  With us, special guest Rick Moore, who had video cameras specifically trained on the Celis home. He describes seeing who he believes to be Isa`s father and uncle coming out of the home around 8:00 AM that morning, walking back and forth, apparently looking for Isa, we can surmise.

<snipped>

GRACE: ... is Isabel`s father and his brother, which would be Isabel`s uncle, walking around in front of the Celis home.

MOORE: Nancy, that`s conjecture on my part. I think that`s who it was. The police didn`t want us to speculate about who that

<snipped>

GRACE: Ellie, what time, do we know exactly, was the 911 call?

ELLIE JOSTAD, NANCY GRACE PRODUCER: Yes, exactly. It was 8:14. But police did say family did a quick search before they called
