Sounds like an ingenious plan to perhaps recoup some monies for all plaintiffs.  Interesting.  Wonder who this James Schober is & who is he
connected to?   Wonder what he stands to gain.

http://news.yahoo.com/trustee-wants-sell-casey-anthonys-life-story-191757682.html

 ::snipping2::
In a motion filed Friday in federal court in Tampa, trustee Stephen Meininger asked Judge K. Rodney May for permission to sell the "exclusive worldwide rights" of Anthony's life story.

Due to the intense public interest in Debtor and the Property, the Trustee believes that there will be interest from others in purchasing the Property," the motion reads.

An auction, with bidding, is the "best way to maximize the value for the Estate and its creditors."

Kampmann, who said he has been in contact with a member of Anthony's legal team but has no deal in place, is no stranger to controversial books. His publishing house reissued OJ Simpson's book, originally scheduled for release by ReganBooks, an imprint of HarperCollins. But "If I Did It" was dropped in response to widespread outrage. ReganBooks founder Judith Regan was later fired and her imprint disbanded.

I hope someone there takes steps to get bozo off that list of creditors.I don't know how they would divvy up the highest bid but if it's by percentage the clown may get more money than from his least selling doorstop.

I think it would be great if the only amount offered was the $10,000. Never to be able to profit any more from the death of her baby. But I do not want her to get out of paying her debts and get off Scott free. Of course, would the Ho have to agree to the deal? Would be interesting cause if she refused, that would be telling.

Oh, and then my wish would be that no one bought the book. Wouldn't that be funny...no one interested enough to read her pitiful story which will be all lies anyways

3/19/13    Date set for argument on selling Casey Anthony's life story

"The judge in Casey Anthony's Chapter 7 bankruptcy has set a date next month to hear argument on whether her life story is an asset which can be sold in order to pay her debts.
The hearing was set for the morning of April 9 at the Sam M. Gibbons United States Courthouse in Tampa"

"Also set for hearing April 9 is a motion by Zenaida Gonzalez, a woman suing Anthony for defamation, for the judge's permission to further question Anthony about her finances, and who's been supporting her. Anthony's legal team countered that Gonzalez's lawyers already had that chance at a recent creditors' meeting."

Seems to me that the $10,000 bid is so low it feels like it's being put out there just for bait in hopes it will excite some interest. [  Sort of how to start an auction - begins with a really low bid. ]  ... Also hoping to sell the auction idea to the judge, maybe.

As long as it stays below the BK amount. Even a 2 mil bid is half wasted on creditors

Personally, I feel that it is all a scam.  I believe that this was set up to find a different way to get money, where AGAIN it looks like it is not going to Casey.  Her, and her "people" are the most twisted and conniving people EVER!  I don't believe anything or anyone that surrounds her.

Hi Cookie! That's the way I read it. Wouldn't that be WONDERFUL? I'd love to know that she would never be able to profit from murdering that child!!

CBB, all Caylee has left is her story.  Her little bones told her story.  I would hate to see it erased by a self-proclaimed liar.

If it does happen that Ho can sell her story, she still comes out ahead because her debts will be erased. Meanwhile she doesn't have to work to pay off her debts. She can start over debt and kid free. Just like she wanted.

Wonder if Dr. Phil realizes he was scammed? Sure he does not care. He got the interview.

Casey Anthony Rejected By Court In Bid To Overturn Convictions Based On Her Lies
April 2, 2013

A Florida appellate court has rejected Casey Anthony’s request for a new hearing in her attempt to overturn two misdemeanor convictions for lying to police, RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively.

Anthony’s lawyers had already succeeded in getting two of four convictions overturned earlier this year. Then on Feb. 11, 2013 they filed a motion with the Fifth District Court of Appeal in Florida seeking a new hearing on the remaining convictions.

But the court rejected that motion on March 25, Radar has learned.

Lawyers digging up the good stuff
4/3/13    Kronk lawyers ask to question Casey Anthony in bankruptcy case

"Kronk's new filing says "it appears that there may be misstatements on [Anthony's] schedules regarding her income, living expenses, and assets."

"Gonzalez... believes that discovery will show the existence of funds and/or bank accounts being held by Debtor's attorneys and unnamed friends," Shuker's objection states.
