Casey Anthony Murder Trial Judge Belvin Perry … “Yes, There was Sufficient Evidence to Sustain a First-Degree Murder Conviction” in Death of Caylee Anthony

http://scaredmonkeys.com/2013/05/07/casey-anthony-murder-trial-judge-belvin-perry-yes-there-was-sufficient-evidence-to-sustain-a-first-degree-murder-conviction-in-death-of-caylee-anthony/

Quote
Judge Belvin Perry speaks out of the verdict of tot mom, Casey Anthony … SURPRISE, SHOCK, DISBELIEF AT VERDICT!!!

Judge Belvin Perry Jr., the judge who resided over the Casey Anthony murder trial has finally spoken out regarding the jury decision and its a whopper. Judge Perry admitted he was shocked at the  verdict of ‘Not Guilty as sin’ and had to read it twice to make sure he was reading it correctly. Perry went on to say that there was sufficient evidence to sustain a verdict of murder in the first degree in this case. What say you Casey Anthony jury, otherwise known as the “ship of fools”. Think Judge Perry is not setting the record straight as the to guilt or innocence of the tot mom?  Perry stated that the State had better lawyers, but Anthony’s defense attorney Jose Baez a “likeable salesperson” who won the jury over. No, what he did, along with his client Casey Anthony did was con the jury.

Quote
As stated at the Orlando Sentinel, Judge Perry believed that Casey Anthony has two faces, the grieving mother that she would show the jury and the manipulative defendant. Actually, I would some what disagree with this thought. Not that Casey Anthony did not present two sides when it was convenient for her, but Casey Anthony was a master manipulator who could lie like the best of them. How the jury actually believed her crocodile tears is still disturbing to this day.  NOTE TO JURY … The side of Casey Anthony that was the grieving mother was the manipulative defendant. The jury may want to watch the Ed Norton/Richard Gere movie ‘Primal Fear,’ you might learn something, “there never was an Aaron.”

The quote that Casey may want to take notice of was when Judge Belvin said, "JUSTICE WILL ONE DAY BE SERVED BY THE JUDGE OF JUDGES" ... JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE

Search group objects to Casey Anthony's bankruptcy discharge
3:40 p.m. EDT, May 6, 2013

Another debtor is fighting Casey Anthony's attempt to clean her financial slate through bankruptcy: Texas Equusearch, the search-and-recovery group that looked for Anthony's daughter in 2008.

Texas Equusearch is suing Anthony in state court, alleging that she wasted the group's time and money with a fruitless search for 2-year-old Caylee, who Anthony knew was actually dead. Now, the group has filed a federal suit objecting to Anthony's recent Chapter 7 bankruptcy filing.

"As a direct result of [Anthony's] false representations and omissions," Equusearch spent over $100,000 searching for Caylee, and turned down more than 15 requests for help from other families, the new court paperwork says.

Equusearch is the third Anthony debtor engaged in the legal wrangling surrounding her bankruptcy. Zenaida Gonzalez and Roy Kronk, both of whom are suing her for defamation, have also signaled intentions to oppose the discharge of her debts.

The next hearing in the bankruptcy is set for Wednesday afternoon.

Although historically Casey Anthony is teflon in the sense that nothing seems to stick, I would just love it if she weren't allowed to discharge this debt through bankruptcy.  JMHO

Casey Anthony trustee withdraws plan to sell her life story in bankruptcy
4:32 p.m. EDT, May 7, 2013

A trustee has withdrawn his plan to sell the rights to Casey Anthony's life story as part of her Chapter 7 bankruptcy.

The trustee overseeing Anthony's bankruptcy, Stephen L. Meininger, had filed a motion in March seeking permission to sell "the exclusive worldwide rights in perpetuity to the commercialization of Anthony's life story," including her daughter's death and her high-profile murder trial.

However, on Tuesday the trustee filed a one page notice indicating that he was withdrawing that motion.

No explanation was given for the abrupt about-face, but a recent joint filing indicated that the trustee and Anthony's attorneys were "discussing potential resolutions of the issue," at U.S. Bankruptcy Judge K. Rodney May's suggestion.

The next hearing in the bankruptcy is set for Wednesday afternoon. Calls to Meininger and his attorney weren't immediately returned.

Casey Anthony bankruptcy hearing ends without ruling
2:50 p.m. EDT, May 8, 2013

A brief hearing in Casey Anthony's Chapter 7 bankruptcy ended with no resolution on Wednesday, with the attorneys agreeing only that they disagree — and to return to court later this month.

The hearing centered on two defamation suits, brought by Zenaida Gonzalez and Roy Kronk, which were put in jeopardy by Anthony's January bankruptcy filing, which seeks the discharge of her debts.

A bankruptcy stay put both lawsuits on hold. Gonzalez and Kronk plan to argue their suits should be exempt from Anthony's bankruptcy discharge, or that the discharge should be denied altogether.

At Wednesday's hearing, their attorneys were to ask U.S. Bankruptcy Judge K. Rodney May to extend a deadline for their legal challenges to Anthony's bankruptcy until after the suits are settled in the state court.

But the judge put a halt to that argument: May hasn't yet ruled on whether the defamation suits should be resolved in state court, or settled in the federal court system.

He'll hear argument on both issues at the next hearing May 30
. Anthony's lawyers would prefer the suits be decided by a federal judge. Gonzalez and Kronk want jury trials at the state level.

In a pair of responses filed Tuesday, Anthony's attorneys argue the Kronk and Gonzalez suits are frivolous, and it would be "unfair and unjust to delay or deny her the 'fresh start' that she has legally sought" through bankruptcy.

The hearing comes a day after Anthony's bankruptcy trustee withdrew his plan to sell the rights to her life story as an asset, something her defense team opposed vigorously.

Why all the delays? Make a decision! What a waste of time and money.

In an effort to make a speedy decision and save money, maybe the judge can toss a coin to resolve the issues...just sayin.

Casey Anthony lawsuits: Fate unclear after bankruptcy hearing
Gonzalez and Kronk are creditors in Anthony's bankruptcy
5:29 p.m. EDT, May 8, 2013

What does Casey Anthony's bankruptcy mean for the two defamation lawsuits pending against her? The answer was no less murky after a hearing Wednesday in Tampa.

The suits, brought by Zenaida Gonzalez and Roy Kronk, were halted in their tracks by Anthony's January Chapter 7 filing — which she hopes will ultimately end them for good.

Gonzalez and Kronk are both listed as creditors in Anthony's bankruptcy, but because the suits haven't been resolved, it's unclear what — if anything — she owes them.

The parties don't agree on how to settle that question: Anthony's lawyers want a judge in federal court to rule on the suits, likely the quicker alternative.

Gonzalez and Kronk want jury trials in state circuit court, where the Gonzalez claim was well on its way to trial before the Anthony's bankruptcy filing.

Attorneys for Gonzalez and Kronk were in court Wednesday to ask U.S. Bankruptcy Judge K. Rodney May to extend the deadline for them to object to Anthony's bankruptcy until after the suits are wrapped up at the state level.

But May said such a ruling would be premature: "I haven't decided that [the suits] should be heard in state court."

5/13/13  Casey Anthony's attorneys: Judge Perry 'eviscerated' her chance of fair defamation trial

"Anthony's attorneys said in a document filed Friday in bankruptcy court that Perry revealed confidential information on the national news program and expressed his personal views on the evidence and the outcome of her case.

"Judge Perry's public announcement that he believes Ms. Anthony was guilty and that 'God' would be the one to ultimately administrate justice, further tainted the prospective juror pool and ensured that Ms. Anthony could not receive a fair trial in Orange County, Florida."
