I think Lorenzo is a decoy... and they used him by saying he didn't exist etc so that we would move off of jvds...

I don't think he has anything to do with Natalee's death, I think that is all jvds and k2, JMO

EXACTLY, Mrs Red but that will get you around here with aspersions cast on your intelligence so be careful!

Some are not very tolerant of different opinions among Monkeys!  Well, at least not with me.  I don't know when it was decided we have to all agree.  Must have not gotten that memo either.  I seem to miss lots of those memos these day.  <sigh> Rolling Eyes

 Question

I tend to also think Lorenzo was a decoy most days. LOL

Anna, You must know by now that you are one of my favorite posters but No I do not always agree with you. Laughing  Laughing  Yes I will let it be known when that is the case but we are all entitled to our opinions.

I was reading the post from Ms Marples in the Important case documents. We used to have that link once before. It was nice to see it again. Very interesting reading.

The National News is on right now and they are saying things are ripe for another terror attack this summer. Say all things seem to indicate it. What can we do stop all air travel to and from Foreign countries. I realise this is off topic but .....

Don't you think the Dutch investigators must have had something specific in mind that they were checking when they took the soil samples at the VDS residence? It would seem like a waste of time to do such a thing randomly. That says to me that someone told them something they were checking out.

I'm not sure who's all involved or not. I don't know who can beyond PJ2K. When they brought in Guido and charged him with the most serious of all the allegations... that must have taken everyone by surprised. I know it did me..

I'm not ready to disregard Lorenzo by any means..

Lorenzo was brought in for a reason and needed an alibi to get loose.. he didn't have one on his own that proved where he was and when.

I believe Lorenzo is involved.  I also believe that Lorenzo "business" dealings may have something to do with the coverup.

I didn't mean to start an argument, just trying to catch up.  I must have missed something about Guido's arrest?

I agree Klaas , simply because we heard about LVR and his possible connection so early in the case. Early speculation about him is most likely true IMO for the same reason. It may have been while you were gone that the blog called RaceJunkies was posted by *******. It is all in Pap, but parts of it do mention Lorenzo, and seem interesting.

I think it's safe to assume they had their reasons, I agree.

who knows, they might have been looking for traces of Lorenzo too  Laughing

I really wish the Dutch had dug up the concrete around the pool..would have made me feel a whole lot better about their investigation.

However, is it possible they had equipment that could "see" beneath the concrete?

Msmarple & Anna,

Just found this article about crime in the Caribbean...may be old news for you two, but thought I'd put it out here:

http://gocaribbean.about.com/b/a/257024.htm

That is fairly new, May of this year.  I am not sure if we have it or not but think it bears reposting.

Quote from article:

Do tourists really want to know about the problems faced by the countries they visit? I ask myself that question when I see stories like this, detailing a new report from the World Bank that proclaims the Caribbean the murder capital of the world.
Personally I was taken aback by that claim, as well as statistics showing the murder rate in the Caribbean being 30 per 100,000 inhabitants -- higher than that in Africa and far more than in the U.S., where the murder rate is about 7 per 100,000.

Every angle of this case always winds up pointing back to Joran being the actual murderer.  I sometimes have my doubts about the extent of Paulus' involvement.  He could have been the one who let her die after Joran did his damage.

This whole coverup is for Paulus and Joran.  They could care less about the Kalpoes.  I see the Kalpoes being fish food in the near future.

which is why they should be singing like canaries...

Seamonkey is okay. She is a bit down in the dumps and looks like she may be having surgery soon.
Her hubby is taking her away for a few days  for some fun and relaxationand to get her mind off things.!
Other than that..she is fine.
