I'm not sure who's all involved or not. I don't know who can beyond PJ2K. When they brought in Guido and charged him with the most serious of all the allegations... that must have taken everyone by surprised. I know it did me..

I'm not ready to disregard Lorenzo by any means..

Lorenzo was brought in for a reason and needed an alibi to get loose.. he didn't have one on his own that proved where he was and when.

I believe Lorenzo is involved.  I also believe that Lorenzo "business" dealings may have something to do with the coverup.

My guess is disposal. Puts Joran at the south end of the island that morning, near his best friend Lorenzo's house, the guy with the cigarette boat.

Hey Dayhiker- Yeah This is the most likely scenario for his involvement. His boat was searched and if there is a reason he was looked at it must on tis end based on what they think was plausible.

btw - Klaas that racejunkie's stuff is not new. I saw it in the first few weeks of the case. .. I'm sure you remember it.

And back in the beginning when we started the Murder and Crime Thread, it was because somebody told a meeting of travel agents that Aruba had only had one murder in the last twenty years!

Klaas - I'm going to be in California in a couple of weeks.

I can finally be in a time zone where I can talk to the late-night East coast monkeys.  Very Happy

Thats a good guess as I think PVDS got NH out of the VDS home and to Lorenzo's after his 4am pickup/drop off.

Yes, I remember that.  San Francisco right?  You will enjoy it.  By the way, I think the high here today was 77.  San Francisco is notoriously cool so be sure to take a sweater.

I know I will get flames for this but I will say it again...

I truly think that they used Lorenzo as "bait"  they knew if we heard of him and were told to leave it alone we would chase like mad after him.... it's why I think decoy...

get us going away from the guilty ones....

I think more along the lines of Freddy, koen, heck even michael dompig...

You know, that's a good point.  I was there a long time ago but in July, and we did need sweaters or jackets early morning & later in the day, especially.  Had forgotten....the heat here the past two days is heavy duty....90s, humid...

No flames but I do disagree.  I think Lorenzo is chin deep in the drug and porn business in Aruba.

Lorenzo's house is only 1/2 mile from the ocean with docks nearby. Makes sense he'd be the go-to guy.

Joran's best friend and very possibly half-brother. He would be willing. If Lorenzo didn't physically do the the disposal himself he certainly knew the type of slime that would. ATM withdrawals could have been to pay the bifrons.

I think that part of the reason for the coverup has to do with illegal drugs/porn and money laundering.  I also believe it's entirely possible the Sloot's may have turned to Lorenzo to hide/dispose of Natalee.

From whom did we hear how frightened Koen had been? Was it someone reliable or someone we've come to distrust?

I know Dave wrote about it in his book.

Do you remember what he said? My copy of Dave's book is lost somewhere in the zillions of books we have in our house.  Embarassed
