Lake says the animal was put down because bears remember food sources.

Officials suspect the bear pulled the body of Rory Wagner, 54, from his car after he died on a remote logging road.

 

So, they're saying that the bear would remember that food is inside cars found on that remote road?  Sort of like here where they remember the trash cans.  

I'm thinking the prison systems might go green, or rather, black.  Have bears living around the perimeter of the prisons.  Not as many guards needed, not as many security measures needed, and it would help our animal friends.  I'm sure it would cut down on escape attempts.  And should the inmates want to cause trouble, why then, they could have some counseling time with the bears.
