An AMBER ALERT was issued for missing 12 year old Megan Williams statewide in Florida and Georgia. Megan Williams was last seen at 10:45 pm on Saturday in the 7600 block of NW 18th Court in Margate, FL. She was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans. Authorities believe Megan Williams was likely abducted by a  man she met over the Internet and could be traveling in a silver Chevrolet Malibu toward Texas.

Description of Megan Williams:

light brown hair and brown eyes
5′ 1″ tall and weighs approximately 85 pounds
last see wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and jeans

A 12-year-old girl who is missing in Florida may be in Louisiana, according to Louisiana State Police.

An advisory for an endangered or missing child has been issued for Megan Williams of Margate, in Broward County, on Florida's East Coast.

The girl may be traveling through Louisiana with an unknown male, possibly in a silver Chevrolet Malibu with unknown license plates, State Police said.

Can't find any updates yet.  Would have thought the family might use FB or something to get the word out more or maybe who the creep is that supposedly took her!  It would really help!  I hope she is found safe and gets lots of counseling.

Glad she was found safe and hopefully not violated by this creep!  Walton County is 30 minutes away from me and it wasn't on my local news!!  That's a small town for ya.
