Monkeys - I heard something at work today that many of you might already know about. We were told that a lot of people are wearing something red (anything red) on Fridays in order to show support for the troops overseas. We were encouraged at work to do this every Friday if we felt so inclined. Just wanted to share that for those who might not have heard about it.

REgarding that Julia character and her side-kick Angela..The more I think about the $4000 incident, It makes me wonder if it wasn't Julia, et al, that was trying to extort that money. They sure seem to know a lot about it.
If the ALE were truly an honest police outfit, they would haul her and her friend in immediately for questioning. THis is a very suspicious situation, IMO.
But, of course, we KNOW that won't happen.

Southwest Airlines started back in April or May of this year promoting the wearing of red for the support of the troops. I forget some Fridays to do it due to it being summer vacation for the kids here.  Right before the kids got out for summer they had their red shirts or shirts with American flags on them to support the troops and one of their teachers commented to me about us all being patriotic. I explained to her about Southwest Airlines and how the word is being passed along to others about wearing red on Fridays. The next Friday at the school was military appreciation day as we have a military base here where I live and the school my kids attend are supported by military people. Every year the sametime frame we do a military appreciation day and it just warms their hearts to see the kids/parents supporting them. It gives us the time to tell them Thanks for all they do and thank them for our freedom.
