Pretty watch EASY.  My husband would like that only he'd want something other than gold.  He doesn't like the gold.

I got silvertone! lol  Gold was the only picture I found.

It feels good, looks good and it is too soon to tell if it tells time!

I know little about watches.  Most of mine have been Timex or cheaper.  A relative gave me a nice Jules Jurgensen once and I wore that thing for a dozen years.  Still have it, but sticking my arm into the pool to take samples killed it off many years ago.  This luxury watch I just bought is an English made (assembled) limited edition with a Swiss movement, 25 jewels and sapphire crystals front and back.  Not being a watch expert, I can’t say much more than what the specifications tell me.  I do like the feel of the alligator strap, the weight feels solid but not over-bearing and it looks impressive.  If keeping track of time was my goal, I would probably have gone with something much cheaper and just tossed it when it started losing time. lol

In all the old movies I have seen, a father leaves his son a watch and chain.

Not long after my father died my grandmother brought his belongings to me and my sister.  The sum of his life was totaled in a tattered cigar box.  A few post cards, a frayed belt, rusty razor, a shaving brush and a Bible adorned that treasure chest.  That was it!  Nothing more!  Those memories never leave me.  I can still close my eyes and see that cigar box with its broken hinges.

Since those times, I have come a long way, figuratively and literally.  The memory of the battered cigar box has always held stead fast though.  Never would I do the same.  This watch is an example of such.  It is something that can be passed down to the next generation with pride.

Damn, I just got very moody……. SORRY!

This was the sky I saw yesterday.  My cell camera resolution is limited.

Morning monkeys.

Easy, you have done very well for yourself, and that is an impressive watch. It's very 21st century.  Very Happy

This is totally OT, but since there doesn't seem to be any breaking news, I have a deer question. We have a lot of deer in our area and they routinely graze in our front yard. This morning we saw a mother deer and her baby grazing, then two more female deer wandered up and started chasing the mom and her baby in circles. One of the two latter deer even put her leg on the baby's back and acted like she was trying to knock it to the ground. I've never seen female deer behave so aggresively.

What was up with that?  Shocked

Ha! Caught you! You only thought you were alone.  Laughing

That's a sky that looks like it had some serious rain clouds in it.

Now I'm all envious!

Nice picture Easy.  The building looks like the sun is shining on it and then you look to the sky and you see the clouds.

By the way I like the watch in silver also.  I also like leather bands.
