they just did bring up a good point why dont they use a polygraph on these kids (lie detector) >?

not to change the subject to julia renfro (editor of aruba today) but if I remember correctly, she was asked during an interview last week if her paper had ever found out or printed anything prejudicial towards joran. she replied "oh no! he's only been in our paper for all the wonderful things he's done!". that may not be an exact quote, but her comment stuck w/me because it sounded so favorable about joran.

my point is: I take now what she says or writes w/a grain of salt.

I think the lady is an Aruba flack. I have not seen any timely reports in an international language coming out of Aruba. When you look at her paper online it is always yesterday's edition. OK, so they want to sell the actual paper but when you have a scoop and they eyes of the world on you, you put it out there you don't hide it so you get the credit. I would say the Aruba press has done no better job of getting at the facts than the US MSM. If they are so patriotic they ought to hustle a little and publish in languages the rest of the world can understand to make their place look better than it looks in terms of the investigation. If she did indeed defend Joran then she is not objective. Her paper is an add sheet for tourists not a real paper. I would accept Dutch, Spanish or English, all of which I know. I can wade through Papiamento too but not easily. Plus, all the Aruba written press holds back the day's edition for tomorrow so they can sell more paper. I did not even get AM Aruba today. FM 95.1 is great if you speak Papiamento.

the quote out of the jail last week, the leaked qoute was" something bad happened" then they shut up because their attorney told them to.... right after that vd sloot s attorney stated.. "my client didnt confess to anything"
Kinda obvious now....

The confession came on the 10-11, Joran has changed his story by the 13th. This is the period the government took control of the cover-up.

Also--I am paraphrasing--let's remember Oduber's words about
protecting Aruba's tourism/reputation at any cost. Also,
he stated that Aruba could not afford to have an American tourist killed on its island--or something to that effect. Anyone who has the exact quotes, please post.

It's astounding all the wrong actions Aruba took--in many cases, the exact OPPOSITE of what it should have done. And that continues today!

NOt much their just talkign on the radio talking phoen calls form the public ,,,,they do this every day like fo ran hour its like free michrophone hour where anyone can call in and voice theri opinions, which is naythign on the island....the update was of a 30 year old woman that has just commited suicide.....so dont be alert about that it had nothign to do w/ NH
