One would have to think there is something valid to go one.  You don't spend resources like this without something solid.

FOX is confirming 5 at least brought in!

So up to this point who woudl the five be? When did they arrest PVDS?

I would think that for someone to donate resources of that magnitude, some pretty powerful evidence must have been presented.

I will stand by what I have been saying which is Deepak is the one who confessed.  Not in a million years would Joran have confessed.  He was on strict orders from Paulus.  The reason why he had to change his story quickly is because Deepak confessed and ratted him out.

We're usually on the same page but this one I have to disagree with. I think it was goonboy that confessed.  JMO.

For the longest time I thought it was Joran but as time went by and we learned more about him and I changed my mind.  It is not in his nature to confess especially after the horrible crime he did.  Joran was well coached the 10 days before he went to jail and days after he was in jail.  Van der Straaten has his back.  They never expected Deepak to throw the monkey wrench in their plan.  Deepak sensed the setup and he spilled his guts right in front of an FBI agent.

I would hope so too. I remember when they were going to search the Sloot property, the FBI was notified by I assume the KLPD. So there is osme communication. And Dave plays the cards close to the vest.

From fox-news.com - note this says the charges are detailed but not yet charged and they mention (but not conclude) Natalee was murdered.

ORANJESTAD, Aruba — For the first time Friday, Aruban authorities detailed the allegations suspected of the five men being held in connection with the disappearance of Natalee Holloway (search) and they suggested that Natalee was murdered.

Joran van der Sloot (search) and his friends Deepak and Satish Kalpoe are being held under suspicion of murder and kidnapping as well as being an accessory to murder. A fourth man, Steve Croes, is being held under the same conditions.

The fifth man, Paul van der Sloot (search) — the father of 17-year-old Joran — was being held on suspicion of complicity to pre-meditated murder, complicity to kidnapping and murder and kidnapping. Under the Aruban system, complicity is a lesser charge.

None of the men have been charged with a crime. But all are in police custody.
