Did Dr. Phil ever have the show that was mentioned?  I watched most of the week and never saw anything related.

Any news from TES?  I keep checking back hoping to see some news and nothing.  I can't imagine what Donnas family must be going through.

I am pretty sure the story about Donna will be aired this Wednesday on Dr. Phil....October 24th.
There is another petition to sign asking Burgess where is Donna. I believe the petition is going to be sent to Burgess's attorney and maybe tried to be sent to him in prison. Leave your question for Burgess on the petition because I am sure it will viewed by him or his attorney. They also have a new guestbook on Donna's web site for everyone to read and leave a suggestion or comment. www.donnajou.com
http://gopetition.com/petitions/where-is-donna.html

I heard they have been trying to do small searches for Donna but no news. I still am praying and have hope that she will be found. God Bless everyone involved!

Seems this show is not it. Perhaps the fires changed the scheduled of shows.

Oh, that's too bad IBE.  Please let us know if you find out when Donna's parents will be on.  Thank you.

I am still so mad about them not being able to make Burgess talk about any of this.  I can't believe the way our justice system works anymore.

Still nothing from Burgess I guess, no news from TES.

Why don't some of us go start our own search for Donna?  I live in Orange County, though I think a search would be better started near where Burgess lived on Faris Drive.  Like some of the places in those great pictures of the area surrounding his house that were posted on here.  Or maybe around his boat if it's still in San Pedro.  Anyone else interested?

No news on Donna, although I am hopeful (sort of) that the fires in the Santa Monica mountains may reveal something - if the upper brush is burned away, and the fire fighters are walking around on foot throughout the mountains, they could come across something...

Read this on the web site of the jail where Burgess is housed, and this made me a tiny bit happy.  Here is their description of their facilities:

"Men's Central Jail currently houses the majority of Los Angeles County's high risk, high security inmates, and it ranks as the largest jail in the free world."

He is locked up with a bunch of baddies (to use IBE's word).  Do sex offenders get the same treatment from their fellow inmates as child predators?   Shocked

I hope the police are still working on Donna's case.  If she is still alive, she is being held against her will behind closed doors somewhere.  She even could be in the Los Angeles area in some underground brothel or porn video place.   Have the police searched the brothels in the LA area, I wonder?  Have they searched the underground porn video places in LA?  (there are probably a ton, I am guessing, and the people running them are probably not nice people who are going to willingly open their doors and let police in to search)  How (im)possible would it be to look for Donna in homemade porn videos made in Los Angeles and sold abroad...?  I guess that would be like looking for a needle in a haystack...

I do believe someone else knows something about Donna's whereabouts or what happened to her that night of June 23.  I think the police need to not rely on Burguess to tell them about her, b/c I don't think he is going to say anything.  If she did die that night, he either dumped her body in the mountains; in the ocean; I doubt he drove her somewhere and dumped her by a lake b/c that would entail digging a hole in the ground and he is too lazy to do that.  He also could have sold her to a second person - I only hope the police are checking or have checked his phone records / internet connections / questioned his buddies / thoroughly checked the boat for forensic evidence / questioned the other people at that party & the neighbors.

What did we decide about that photo he put on his Vox page - that room with the red blanket on the rumpled bed.  Did we decide that is in CA or Mexico; was it a hotel room or a room in a house?

Is anyone doing anything about missing Donna Jou?  Are the police still working on the case, or has she been filed under "Unsolved mysteries"?  Is Gloria Allred still on the case?  What is going on?

HI all,

I haven't heard a diddly good thing about the case progressing... well LAPD... look to Ill. to see how quickly they have and the family have agreed to have TES come in.... disappeared about Oct 28... TES is in today!!!

That the was it is to be done before all the evidence, all the hints are cold for LE had an old boy's network ego plus thinking they have 1000 search and rescue here. Well I am sure they are good, but I had the honor of riding with Donna Jou's father and Tim Miller of TES in the back see with Aunt, Uncle in Front. TES is a pro... his eyes, ears brain are constantly multitasking all around the terrain..homes, apartments

The searching area here was more closed in or could have been if they had been allowed to come in sooner

I hate to hear that the investigation has stalled. Donna and her family deserve much better.

I haven't heard a word about the case on the news since before we had all of those fires from San Diego to Los Angeles.

Well there are still places we could search if we could get enough to come in with us on it...maybe about 8-10 we could grid off the rr gorge area, if they haven't enclosed it all in fence now. Every area I posted as areas of interest has been fenced off now.

I am interested in searching the rr gorge for her telephone and getting permission for another area nearby his house to search    both these areas are within 1/2 mile either way of his home. Carry some pepper spray.. don't know what we'd find in the rr tunnel. Hope we could get some men to go along too. Great parking and a nice park for a picnic or talking. Pizza nearby.

Let me know.....  I;ll post an email addy tomorrow. Thanks, love, IBE

Hi all,

Here is a question:

That deputy sheriff of OC, Mike Corona, was brought up on federal charges for something.  Apparently he temporarily has stepped aside and a new deputy sheriff, a WOMAN, is in charge.

What impact will this have (or not have) on the Donna case?  Does anyone know what role the deputy sheriff has in local law enforcement & active cases?  Was Mike Corona these investigators' boss?  Or are they two completely separate entities?  (or are the investigators from LA and not OC?)  And would a woman boss take more interest in missing Donna Jou?  What do y'all think?

Is there anything we, the non-family members and just regular private citizens of America, can do to get this case going?  It is my understanding the police are not sharing information with the family (probably so they can keep their case intact).  But from the outside it seems like the police are not doing *anything*.  We don't need to know the clues or whatever they have found, or even what they are doing to advance this case, but how can we find out if the police are even still working on this case (or do we have the right to ask that)?

What is Gloria Allred's role?  Is she working in conjunction with LE and is she on top of the latest developments?  Is LE sharing information with her?  Can she post the latest developments (or lack thereof) on the donnajou.com web site?

Frustration abounds.  Logic tells me that the family cannot push LE too much for several reasons, one being that the family is in shock and/or mourning.  If this is Allred's role and purpose in this matter, then LE is hopefully sharing information with Allred, or something along those lines.  If Allred has another role (for example:  she is the legal representation, the voice for the family, against Burgess), then who is holding the police accountable to continue working on this case?

That is the main question:  Who is holding LE accountable to make sure they continue to search for Donna?

I remember back in summer 2001 when that White House intern, Chandra Levy, went missing.  I heard on the news that daily a huge number of people go missing - some because the person ran away (like the runaway bride), and some due to foul play.  Of course, Donna went missing due to foul play.  The questions are:  1) Is she alive or not?  2) In either case, where is she?

She needs to be found.  The family needs answers.  If Donna is no longer with us on this earth, she needs to be found and put to rest so the family can have closure.

I just visited this LAPD official website and looked through their missing persons cases - No Donna mentioned anywhere.

I searched their 2007 archives for their newsroom press releases or bulletins for the months of June and July - No Donna mentioned anywhere.

I don't get it.  I know she wasn't a resident of Los Angeles, but it was in L.A. that she was reported last seen.  Shouldn't they have information on their site when someone goes missing within their city?

Maybe I'm missing something.

This girl's case seems to have fallen off the media radar. There's nothing going on.
She deserves to be found, and her family needs answers. What can be done to rejuvenate this case?
