Can someone interpret this for me, please?  On the LASD page for Burgess it says:

RELEASE
Actual Release Date: 11/13/2007       Release Time: 0752       Release Reason: CUST       Reason Description: CUSTODY RELEASE

Release Agency: WACO       Agency Description: WASCO STATE PRISON 53191AL

Does that mean he was moved to this Wasco State Prison, or he was released???

Shearerluck Keep the questions out there. Thanks.

Try Det. Ito at LAPD Hdqtrs. for that question. Somewhere I have heard his name.
Try Los Angeles County Sheriff's for they have some overlapping areas with the case and of course

Orange County Sheriff's Office for the missing person's case was filed there.

Jim Amormino is the OCSD official spokesman for all cases, I have known him since the late 70's  and find him to be very honest, dedicated and if I ever get in trouble, I hope it is in OC for I know I get some straight help if I am a victim or a baddie.

We have not talked about Donna Jou's case except the time I called he mentioned he was on the way down to meet the family at a vigil. He seemed proud, honored to do so. I'll call him after Thanksgiving to say hello and tell him what I have been doing here and with the family and TES. (He's probably known that already for I feel, especially lately, that the LAPD and OCSD were and are doing more that we know now and are keeping it quiet for a reason known to them that is important.. This is just a gut level feeling.

IMO the Jou family has to contract them, maybe more that is within the family's comfort zone, at the moment, but you can't let this get out of the lime light and start a lax time.

His tele is 714-647-7042    fax-6170    email is jarmormino@ocsd.org
His email comes back to me so I called Ms. Muleady, who is his exe. secretary, very professional, nice, has a sense of humor, down to earth, intelligent and understands Jim's multitasking schedule.

Donna Muleady, Secretary. She said for me to use her email and she would print out the message and put it on his test. (let's also tell him to get his fixed!)

I got the paper wet... put I think it reads: dmu@ocsd.org

If that is wrong, please call her and let me know too. Thanks.

sometimes, even if a Scared Monkey would send a thank you note for what we know you are doing and for what you are doing that we don't know....  to the powers that be on this case would help.... another way to not let them know someone is watching the progress or lack of progress and still get an "attaboy" to them.

Sounds like he was moved from County/City Jail to WASCO. I am not sure.
The Wasco prison website seems to explain that it is only a short-term processing center. Inmates are evaluated and then sent on to another prison where they will serve out their terms of incarceration.

I can't see where he is listed on the National Sex Offender Registry either.

Then again...his address is the jail so he probably can't register that as his home address

I have not read every post in this thread, but today I was looking at some older articles and saw this printed in one from>>>
http://www.knbc.com/news/13650160/detail.html

"One of Jou's friends in San Diego got a text message from Jou that same night; it said she had locked herself in a bathroom, because things were out of control, and that a guy she was with was giving her the creeps, Amormino said."
Man...they need to hog tie this guy and slash his gonads with a razor blade till he talks!!

Could not agree more!!!  Mad  If this is true that her friend received this text message - why can't they proceed forward just based on that???

I believe this is where Burgess is staying now....Wasco State Prison.

http://www.cdcr.ca.gov/Visitors/Facilities/WSP.html

I have also heard that the Dr. Phil show will air Donna's Story on December 5th. I believe they are wanting everyone to sign the new petition for Burgess. They are wanting as many signatures as they can get to send a printed copy to Burgess and his attorney. Please pass this link to everyone you know

http://gopetition.com/online/14735.html

I am sure the Family will NEVER GIVE UP ON FINDING DONNA!

Just some random thoughts:

Why would anyone want/wish to talk if he/she was a "person of interest or a suspect"?

I have a couple acquaintances who have been in prison; I have never asked why for I don't really want to know. I wish to accept them as now.

I also have had acquaintances who probably wear a "white hat" in the open or not.

The ones who have been in jail, tell me the chances of surviving as a child sex offender is not as great in prison as it is within the main convict population. What would be the reason for anyone to talk? Could be a fried goose in or out.

If porn was sold overseas was involved or even in the US as it crosses state borders. Is the FBI in the jurisdiction too? What about the Post Office or Internet provider? Were these "home videos"? How were they made? How did the subjects "get" into them? Someone has to hold the camera if not on a tripod.

The rent of apartments and homes is high there.... he paid for his rent via cash (I am guessing) via roommates and what else?

He had parties. Advertised his rent to on Craig's List. He attracted foreigners. Were they on student VISAs current or expired? Were they "just" tourists? He had roommates.

You "just don't disappear" IMO unless you are in Aruba!

LA and Orange County are tourist areas.... however, not easy to boycott as Aruba.

Again, anyone that has driven the area within 1+ miles of the home on Faris knows there are lots of hidey holes and vacant land. Places to dispose of evidence. Why did he leave his truck tool box along nearby street?

Many homeless are down there along and illegals who probably saw or heard something... people walk through those areas at all times of night. The main bus from downtown LA to Venice 24/7 is only 2 blocks south.

However, it must be considered that certain people like from Mexico or Russia or other countries that he might have rented to or who know something... do not trust police, so I have heard in history classes.

Being illegal or legal sometimes doesn't make a difference in the fear or lack of trusting or sharing with police. It has nothing per se to do with our police, but of the background of those from other countries, their history, their experiences.

One of the news reports said that the boat he had access to, never left the Harbor. San Pedro Harbor is very large. This statement "never leaving the harbor"... does this mean it never left the dock also?

There was news coverage in Houston that told of TES coming to search in LA... (the second time after Ms. Allred joined the family)

This was never, ever covered in the local news, I don't think. Why?? We heard about them not coming the first time for LAPD. It has been said that Palms area (which is considered on the Westside of LA and on the border of Culver City)  said the areas were too populated with homes and apartments; that there were x # thousands of search and rescue team members in CA and didn't need TES.

Why wasn't this second search plan in the local news?

Are clues given to the police followed up? In my heart of hearts, I have to keep believing in the good intentions of Law Enforcement.

LAPD and Orange County Sheriffs cover huge areas and IMO are very dedicated but understaffed, in my opinion.

A story was on Ch. 4 (NBC) tonight about a man whose van used in business was stolen with thousands of dollars of his business equipment in it. He followed up for a year on his own and gave clues, even finding the name and DMV license # on a receipt found later in the van of the one who stole his van. Stealing of cars wasn't high priority of LAPD according to this report on TV for it happens hundreds of times a day (my words on the #)

With the millions of people in LA, there must be many. many missing persons a day.

Every one of them has a family somewhere. Every one of them is either deceased or suffering in one way or another. Would think those who just take off would be a small %.

I am just sad that these things happen.

Some of the news seems to have a slant that she was "dumb" to get on the motorcycle and go to the party (as if we all live in glass houses!)

not one of them, that I have ever heard, has ever mentioned that she was lied to.

Just alike some of the reports from Aruba... thinking Natalee got into the car with unknown people... how many have said in the media that she was lied to by the person, one of the suspects in Aruba???? That he led her (and others before according to his and other LE statements) to believe he was a visiting student from Holland, was staying at her hotel when he was actually a "local", living in Aruba?

Well, Good Monkeys.. keep up the Good Work.

I posted this in the Natalee Holloway Thread. Many dedicated Monkeys there and also here.

Wanted to post this here

From the Natalee Thread:

"Have to crawl on the roof tomorrow to fix some leaks so thought I'd better post this, just in case Rolling Eyes

In this tread through the 2 1/2 years we have learned more than we ever wanted to know or thought we could comprehend, stand. It seems to be in a low ebb now.

One of the things I have learned is the power of those who are dedicated to a cause and the use in this way of the Internet.

Have also learned about the pulling of the wool over things (and the timing of things aren't sometimes to our own liking.)

We can't have that happen when Natalee goes missing or any other missing person. I became t-d off about something having to do with missing Donna Jou, besides the fact she was lied to over the Internet.

TES was coming to search and the LE, supposedly, LAPD, told TES there was no place to search near where she was last seen for it was a big population of homes and apartments ie: no vacant land.

So I went out and took pictures. These are in the Donna Jou thread here under missing persons. Many Monkeys are involved.

I'd like for us, here on this thread, to know that tomorrow Dr. Phil will have Donna Jou's parents on. It's about the safety or lack of safety on the Internet and missing persons. It was filmed in the middle of Oct.

IMO we can all help by emailing his show for a follow up on this and Donna Jou.

If searches can be declined when requested by an American family of a missing child in the US, how can we expect a foreign govt. to search?

This will help all missing Americans, no matter where they are missing.

I am asking all our Good Monkeys here to keep rallying here and to keep tabs on this case as it has many similar challenges, known and unknown."

I'm bringing my reply over from the musings thread:

IBE ~  Thank you for the information about Donna Jou's parents being on Dr. Phil today.  I think we need to announce this a couple of times today, on this thread and on Donna's thread, to be sure it's seen.

Your posts are very sincere and heartfelt, IBE.  You've raised important issues.  You've gone out and taken photos and searched on your own.  You don't just talk-you act.     BTW ~ take care up on the roof.  Is there anyone that can help?  You shouldn't be up there, especially alone.

Thanks, but I respectfully decline Rolling Eyes Many Good Monkeys are involved in Spirit and in Action

In all the ins and outs, we must remember what Beth, Dave Holloway and Natalee's friends, family and Monkey family here have/are going through and learn from that.

My optimism for the "hang in there attitude" comes from the Scared Monkeys, Donna's family and the American belief that Law Enforcement is working on this.

I sincerely believe that one of the freedoms in the world is and should be the right to human dignity... the right to have civil rights to be alive.

Not sure if I wrote what I really mean, but this is close.
