SOMETHING IS STINKING IN THIS CASE BIG TIME

!. I do not see how he could have used his sailboat with out radar/port where he had it knowing about it.

2. Failure to properly register may be a felony and may count as a "Third Strike." in California. We know Burgess was picked up for failure to register.

ALL VIOLATIONS OF HIS PAROLE
a. He fled to Florida after the murder. Crossing state lines makes it federal.
b. He did not register as a sex offender.

3. A body unless it was stuffed inside a truck or weighted down with the anchor; which even that parts would eventually tear off and wash ashore as in the case of Peterson. I don't think he put
her in the ocean. Perhaps a lake. IF I recall her text message was from San Diego area to her mother the next morning. HE either went to San Diego after disposing of her body, made the text or he disposed of the body in San Diego. I highly doubt it did it in broad daylight as in his statement "the next morning" he panicked. He gave her those drugs at that party in the house in LA. Then he took her someplace, raped her and she died of the overdose imo.

I still say, check along the areas of that toll road. There's a reason he took the toll road rather then the 5 freeway which is the direct line to his house. Klassend posted a lake nearby and that should be searched. Too bad the family and/or detectives could not get a sonar boat in that body of water to check.

took photos of himself by bodies of water and that is one of his patterns. He could have hot wired anyones boat out on a lake, much easier to use someone else's boat rather then his own and lead a trail back to him.

This guy should have gotten life, not 5 years. The parents need to be diligent in pursuing justice.
Find out who the other girl that lived with him and is supposed to be missing too that Hope posted about. Start connecting dots.

I am so happy to see you here and be able to check in. I am on a older borrowed laptop pc (I am a Mac die hard since '89 and Apple since '82) so this has been a challenge as the screen lid crashes on my hands or goes back and hits the knees, or bed and the colors, et al on the screen get all messed us. I did get it to work when my neighbor said it might not (had to get (to SM Family!}

Perhaps in Nov I can get my macs to work or at least one by taking parts from the other. I like the iBooks I have and don't wish an intell one.

A few years before Burgess lived at his last place where Donna visited he had lived with  another girl whom I think was Rachel Sexton, Saxton, Sachs, Sacs Missy was her friend. Rachel and Burgess lived together. Missy and Rachel were quite close.  Maybe Missy has lived there too and move for she thought Burgess was a little odd. I seem to remember that, but I might be wrong there. Anyway, Missy and Rachel would talk every day. Then one day John Steven Burgess said that Rachel wasn't there anymore, all of a sudden. Missy tried many times to get ahold of Rachel but couldn't becasuse Burgess said she wasn't there anymore. She could get no info out of him other than that.

It wasn't like Rachel not to call Missy when she arrived somewhere or was going on a trip.

Rachel had no relatives. Missy filed a missing report with LAPD but it was put on the third burner. She has never heard from Rachel again/ She feels she is still a missing person. (Would monkeys like for me to see if I can see if the Aunt of Donna's will ask Missy to join us here?) Missy doesn't see to be afraid of anything.

This was a few years, maybe two when Burgess lived at Rose and Overland, close to where the tool box was found and alittle tad more to his list home on Faris.

I learned all this from Monkey Lindam who is Donna's Aunt from Houston. We spent many days, nights togeter looking and sleuthing. Then joined by Tim Miller.

Missy and Lindam became quite close and Missey was even at the last candle light ceremony on the aniv of Donna's disappearance with MS Allred there.

Now, the house that Burgess had rented where Donna supposedly "overdosed"... some news articles said she overdoesed... I think the court record says he gave it to here in a form of a shot.. and then she was dead after he woke up... anyway, one of his ex=girlfriends (we used to hid the name, and call her Snow white but who cares now after what Burgess has "confessed" (cough, cough) to. Her name is Heidi. She was fixing up the rental home for his returned. She had not previously lived there but was at the same party that evening.

As a lark from me about going by his home and seeing if anyone was there, (my intuition did well with Donna's family and this case) Heidi was painting up the place and in here sometimes high state told many things to Donna's aunt and uncle.

One was she thought he had done it, but couldn't figure out how he could get the body carried out without anyone hearing or seeing him... well IMO those were there were probably so drunk, drugged out so would be asleep or maybe it happened somewhere else.

Burgess had several hiddy holes that he'd take a new girlfirend to and pretend it was brand knew just for her. Heidi told the aunt all of them, where they were. They were around LA but mostly in wilderness areas... Santa Monica mts , Malibu State Park and others. I am not sure she told them of any in OC or SD as the Aunt and Uncle weren't then yet familiary with the locations when named. I do know A and Uncle searched up towards San Bernadino where they have the concerts

She also told the police and we supposed the lines were tapped as Burgess was callinig during his last escape to FLA and saying whenn all this Donna stuff was done, he wanted to comeback and Marry Heidi and hav kids.... I guess, he'd think she would have forgotten the abuse that I was told ablout.

Anyway, Heidi went poof. I thought they had her under wittness protection for the grand jury but later go the idea she wasn't considered too important by LAPD... too bad... the hiddy holes, his pattern would have been most important.

I think some of them were mentioned in his emails to the Orange County sheriffs in forms of email from him in FLA. but then I here there weren't any emails. so who knows..

sort of like the boat in San Pedro harbor that didn't leave its dock accourding to LE, but then Burgess says he used it.  That place has loads of camera for terrorism, so the powers that be know.

Sometimes I think Burgess's giving his story of putting her in the ocean wrapped up the case for the LE in a nice little bow to forget and wipe their hands of it.

I do, still, not get the opinion from OCSD that that is the case though.

The Aunt and Uncle arranged for a friend to sly all over SM mts and took infarred pictures (perhaps using also the info of his Hiddy holes). He took hunderds of them and I am guessing at the hidely holes too. LAPD wasn't to interested but OCDS was, but I am not sure they got to OCSD for it was then, when I finally matched themup, then Burgess was giving his story.

An off duty LE and I were going to go back and look in Malibu State park again, for I had filmed in that area for about 4 years, but he had a meeting and then found out fomr the LAPD had had cadavor dogs out there along some of the trails early on.

We never really go together for everytime we planned he had to do some work (on call)

Still praying for Donna, her family,and IBE.  I also pray the truth will come out and Donna will be brought home to her family.

IBE, I always mean to ask you, what were the emails about which LE said existed, where Donna and Burgess talked about drugs?  Have you seen them?  Do they exist?

I still do not believe she is in the Ocean and hope Burgess is put away for good before he finds his next victim.  It bothers me that a sex offender wanted to get married and have children, they would be sitting ducks.

This is so very sad and I admire you, IBE, for sticking with it and for being such a great support for this family.

Search for missing Donna Jou resumes

WILMINGTION, Calif. (KABC) -- The search for the body of a missing Orange County student is taking a new turn, more than two years after she disappeared.
The parents of Donna Jou are paying a company with search expertise in the hopes of finding her remains.

The search team began work Thursday, looking in the waters of the Wilmington and Cabrillo Marinas using sonar.

The company was hired to look for Laci Peterson after she disappeared in 2002 and for the wreckage of Space Shuttle Columbia after it broke apart in 2003.
John Steven Burgess is now in prison after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter.

Burgess says he met then 19-year-old Jou on Craigslist in 2007.

He claims to have dumped Jou's body into the Pacific Ocean after she overdosed on drugs she took at a party at his house.

Experts say given the time that Jou has been missing and the likelihood of decomposition, she may not be found. But they emphasize the effort is worth it to give the parents some possible closure.

I think we need to think like this guy thinks to figure out where/what he did with Donna

This is a man who assumed different identities in names and in his looks, I think he knew he was a sex addict, but couldn't control it.

He rented his house out to students from Russia, Poland and Bulgaria. These people would not be
aware of his sexual background or how to check on him and he had them each pay him $100.00/mo.

He is someone who used people to get his money rather then hold down a job of any kind.
It's about control over others, rather then being able to control himself.

That would be why he would target a young girl (like the one he already had been charged with lewd
acts, not rape. That tells us he molested her. So he was at a stage 2 I think it's called in psychology and (I'm too lazy to go look it up), but basically it goes in stages with these sex addicts. They watch porn, they molest, then it moves up the scale to rape. This guy was already at the stages of watching and molesting so his most likely next step was to rape.

He would choose a girl who was young and defenseless and Donna seems to fit that catagory in that she was intelligent and most likely not street smart. AND when you meet someone online, your gut doesn't always register, because they can present anything to the other person.

Now, we know he also had a love of the mountains that had lakes or water because he took pictures of himself posing by his truck by a mountain with a lake behind him.

He already had plenty of opportunity with any of those students whom he rented space to in that house, but he chose a girl he met online. AND I THINK HE ALSO LIKED GIRLS WHO HAD AN ETHNIC LOOK TO THEM. Hence why he advertised and rented to Ethnic rather then LA students.


HIS choice of NAMES:
He chose names of SAINTS as in Sinjin is Saint John
Saint Augustine - Saint Augustine wrote that John was tempted by devils
AND Saint Augustine taught that Original Sin was transmitted by concupiscence (roughly, lust), weakening the will

All of this, to me, points to the fact that he knows he has a problem, but he doesn't seek help, in stead he almost transposes himself into these other Christian heros as a way to convince himself he is worthy in this world. He ain't.

He made a plan (that is why he met Donna Jou online)
He picks her up on a motorcycle rather then his truck CLUE #1. He uses the motorcycle because
A) it makes him feel empowered and young (I am not sure that this girl knew exactly how old this guy was.)
B) He can maneuver a motor cycle easily into areas and also not as easily identified as a large blue truck
C) It's sexual (she would have to hold on to him)

He does something odd though. The 5 freeway is the direct route to his home, I'm sure he came out to Santa Margarita on the 5, but AFTER he picks her up, her family sees them exit the 241 at Portola
which is a TOLL ROAD out there. WHY would a slug like that pay to ride on a freeway?








This is where I would start a search - I'm betting he planned it, & there are desolate areas out
in this area.

A) Donna Jou gave him directions
B) He had already checked the area and knew where he was going to take her later and wanted to check it out, then head to the 5 freeway to his house

He took his prey to the house (where he has control) having picked her up at:

Seems like he would let the party run all night - probably he left with Donna around 2 AM

2AMish until daylight - he took her on the motorcycle someplace. HENCE that is why the motorcycle is missing.

Kermit I don't know if you still lean toward the lake out there in Santiago Canyon, Irvine Lake right? But I've been out there and it seems like it would be an ideal place for Burgess to have left Donna.  It's pretty much hidden from civilization, especially at night. 

Please don't think I'm some kind of kook for posting this, but this has been eating at me ever since
I first layed eyes on this picture about two years ago.  I'm hoping someone can find out where this image originated and rule out any connection to Donna.  IMO it just looks too much like it could be her and it haunts me.  I posted something about it on this site when I ran across it not long after Donna went missing.

The image is of the head, face and right shoulder of a girl that appears to be nude and under water
and may be being held down by what looks like a male hand/fist over her mouth and nose.  There are other disturbing things about the picture, the coloring, the marks on the neck and collar bone, etc. The image looks like it has been photoshopped/altered to purposely distort it or maybe that's just the way pictures come out when the subject is in water.

the image appears in the lower right hand corner on the first page that comes up.

When I first ran across the picture a couple of years ago it was being used as the background image for a
bands myspace page that was located at www.myspace.com-enjoykillswitch.  The band was a local Los Angeles,
CA band and the myspace page hadn't been up long at all.  I don't remember exactly what the date on the
myspace page was, but I remember feeling sort of sick when I saw the date.  It gave me more than the
willies. 

The image itself was named Voicebox_byx2pher.jpg           The title of the image bothers me too, since
Burgess seems to have some fixation with Saints, ie; Saint Christopher, and the Voicebox part is just as
disturbing.  Maybe I'm reading way more into this than I should.  Do we have any good pictures of the
jerks left hand making a fist to compare?

I tried contacting that band way back then and asked them about the details of the  picture and they wrote back
but didn't really answer my question.

Whether you think I must be crazy or not, I just had to let someone else know so that I can stop thinking about it,
and wondering if somehow it may have helped to find Donna.

The pedophile Alegandro Avila, kidnapped Samantha Runnion and took her to an isolated area along Ortega Highway.  That is a very desolate place especially at night.

The pedophile, David Westerfield kidnapped Danielle van Dam and took her out to an isolated
place and then dumped her body off the side of the road near a body of water on his way home.

One looks for patterns with these types.


BURGESS picks Donna up and gets on the 241 TOLL ROAD AT PORTLA. That stretch of road
has a LOT of isolated places to turn off. It is also not a lot of traffic traveling there on a weekend; it also is not traveled a lot by police.
 
She wasn't drugged yet:
Hours after Jou left home, she talked to a friend over the phone for about 20 minutes and told him she had locked herself in a bathroom because the guy she was with was "freaking her out," Jou's parents said.

to the mother that her battery was dying and she'd be home later.

Burgess dumped her body but KEPT THE PHONE? Doesn't make sense!

FOUND is:  rubber dishwashing gloves, rope and a scrub brush

Does BURGESS look like a clean freak? I don't think so either. I would guess those items were
what he used to try to clean up after the crime.


EXAMPLE - NOW THINK ABOUT BURGESS DRIVING A DRUGGED DONNA JOU BACK TO RANCHO SANTA MARGARITA AND TAKING THE 5 TO THE 241 TOLL ROAD AND STOPPING SOMEWHERE LIKE THIS. ALONE/ISOLATED/DRUGGED - HER BODY COULD BE IN ANY NUMBER OF PLACES, BUT I'D BET ON AREAS LIKE THIS ALONG THAT 241 TOLL ROAD.

  motorcycle gas tank?? I see what looks like a woman -- underwater w/ dark hair flowing about. I see her shoulders/darkened eye sockets/forehead and the nose/mouth area look decomposed.... sorry....but that is what I see. I'd just like to note that in Natalee's case I hardly ever saw what others did...lol....but this is obviously a dead woman. Perhaps I spend too much time looking at corpses .... ???

okay, call me crazy, but when I enlarged the reflection it looked like a person, I see an ear, with their hand going out.  Now here's the really crazy part, it almost looks like two duck/loons in the water, like this persons was feeding them.
I'll look again later.  It is really freaky because that is an image of a person in the water.
