westcoastguy:  LOL - Yeah, it was pretty hard to follow the broken English.  When I first started to listen, I couldn't understand what the newscasters were saying, but when they switched to the "English" interview it was a little better.  (emphasis on the word little  Very Happy )

Hey guys!  What's going on?  So, they released the two security guards?  Anything else?

I don't know Native, those comments were casual and not under oath.  I doubt they could legally tape any conversations...and besides they'd have to investigate fully.

I'm not so sure the comments in the cell have much to do with this.  My gut tells me ol' Joran cracked.

Why would Joran volunteer to help the Kalpoes on this strang concoqted story...Deepak: Yes Joran help us use an alibi to cover ourselves from suspicion of kidnapping Natalee...Hello to me it sounds so absurb.  Its like saying I just shot someone can you be my alibi.  Joran: sure I go to jail with you..arghh...its so not true...that leaving Joran at home is a fallacy...it probably never happened

I'm inclined to agree with you.

If anything, I think the Kalpoes might have suckered Joran into going along with them. But, more than likely, they all know what happened.

Annie: Then I'd go with your info, you see what it says out front???? I'm still very confused  because I thought Jones was next to Joren in the lock up but now  it seems like Jones is speaking about Deepak. I don't know & it's probably not a big deal. Thanks.

That *is* what the story said this morning--all about Abraham Jones talking with Joran and hearing Joran sobbing, and so forth.  So, color me just as confused!

then you understand, Mom. I know these things happen in life but it doesn't make it any easier to be a parent. And I know I am not supposed to but I worry so much more about my daughter when she leaves the house as compared to my son.

Same here, I have a son as well, we all worry, thats part of good parenting, and when things like this happen, it makes us worry that much more....but, we can't hold their hand, 24/7.  As my mother in law told me when the kids were younger, "you worry with them when they are young, and about them when they are older"  SO TRUE!

TTownMike,

Bad, no not at all. Looks like the MSM is playing the race card because they dont have much to talk about.

There is racism everywhere just like crime. It just does seem kind of sad they the police were so eager to believe the last 3 people to ever see Natalee, vs the two guards who if my memory serves me were not working that night.

I would think their alibi's would have been easy to check. The police just took their word of these 3 pieces of scum instead.

While we're waiting.....these kinds of things can happen to anyone.  I know cause it almost happened to me.  I was travelling in London and stayed at a B&B.  The owner's son let himself into my room with the master key - twice.  Fortunately, the first time, I was able to persuade him to leave.  The 2nd time, I had blocked his entrance by moving a huge chiffarobe in front of the door so he couldn't get in without a lot of noise.  I did nothing more than talk to him each day for less than 5 minutes when I came in from seeing the sights.
