The cell phone thing is legit... Nat's uncle helped set up the phone to recieve calls and dial out internationally... it just didnt happen until after she was missing, which is why she didn't bring it with her to the club.

If these students couldn't communicate with one another while down there, folks, it puts the whole thing in a VERY different light. All you fellow teachers know that a teenager with a M-I-A cell phone is like a plane with no wings LOL. As dependent as they are on those things, not having them means a whole bunch of missed communication and confusion!

Well, they're not really my school--just have lots of 'Bama relatives who went there.  I can't help but see "red" over the Tide, but I'll stay hush-hush about that on a forum for Natalee.  My own football team is in the midwest, not South.  Good luck to you!

Yeahm it was a royal pain not being able to use cell phones down there.  For the most part we all stayed together though, so it wasn't really an issue until whatever happened to Natalee happened... then we really wished we had been able to use them.

I'm quite familiar with reading boards, and as I see this is up and new today for scaredmonkeys. It just seems to me there are too few posts on each page here, makes for an enormous amount of pages in the end. Perhaps the owners of this forum could change the posts per page to something like 40 or 50?

Hi there, Friend of Monkeys.  I'm going to assume you are Friend of Mickey John's, right?  I wanted to ask you something.

When I first saw his name announced very early in the case, I googled him a bit and found that a Mickey John in Aruba had competed in a Special Olympics last year.  Is that the same person?  Is he handicapped in some way?

I felt so bad for him over all this, if that is so, on top of the false accusations.  Just curious about it.
