Quote from: "Whitney"
SB...if you're up you said... He explicitly stated that according to Deepak, Natalee was extremely intoxicated and mostly out of commission but this was a layman's description that would fit a drugged-up young lady just as well. Plus, if he knew Joran slipped her something he wouldn't want to bring that angle in...

I think I know where you're going with this, but can you finish off your thoughts?

If they were all three (3) or maybe the detritus of 2 into this, are you thinking that perhaps they just got "rid of an unconcious" girl?

This is what the guard said that Deepak said. If Deepak was a part of slipping her a Roofie. he would not mention that to the guard, he plays it up that she was sloshed to the gills. Giving a drunk girl a ride isn't a crime ANYWHERE. As long as she is not raped in the process (or killed). Deepak is either covering for himself, or maybe... telling the truth? Who knows? He has lied before in the case.

I have a tendency to sort of GO ALONG with the Deepak version for some odd reason. I have never felt that the bros. were as deeply involved here as some think. I may be 100% wrong on this but I tend to think Joran was the main culprit and the bros. were just the wheels. Maybe they DON'T know what Joran did after about, say 2:00 AM.

I know one thing for sure... Natalee would not have gone anywhere with JUST the bros. Joran was the magnet that drew her to the car.

Yes.  Was looking for a unique pair of flip-flops..

( there was another missing girl, sometime ago,  search looked for
her over a number of states.. but after one shoe was found.. the
search was immediately focused on a one square mile area.. her
body was found about 300 yards away. )

but in going back and looking at the photo.. the flip-flops don't
appear to have any unique characteristics..

HOWEVER, THE PHOTO DOES SHOW THAT NATALEE IS WEARING
A BRACELET -- DOES ANYONE RECALL HER WEARING THAT
BRACELET THAT NIGHT?  MOST LIKELY, BRACELETS DON'T FALL
OFF -- HOWEVER, THERE'S ALWAYS A POSSIBILITY..

Still looking for any possible trace of Natalee..

--------------------------------
The guard who was interviewed on the Top 95 FM station
tonight was VERY specific that it was DEEPAK who he was
locked up with. He was clear that his story was that
they took Natalee and Joran to the lighthouse, dropped
them off, were called BACK there by Joran and picked
both Natalee and Joran down to the Marriott Hotel area.
He explicitly stated that according to Deepak, Natalee
was extremely intoxicated and mostly out of commission
but this was a layman's description that would fit a
drugged-up
young lady just as well. Plus, if he knew Joran slipped
her something he wouldn't want to bring that angle in.

SUGGESTION:
1) Search beach area from Marriott Hotel area down to
Holiday Inn..
2) Search LOST AND FOUND at Marriott Hotel..
3) Search LOST AND FOUND at any other hotel along beach
to Holiday Inn..
4) Look for any sign of Natalee..
5) Look for any sign of Natalee's flip-flop shoe(s)..
6) Look for any sign of Natalee's pants/slacks..
7) Look for any sign of Natalee's underwear/bra..
Cool Look for any sign of Natalee's bracelet (as seen in photo)..
Cool Determine if security surveillance cameras recorded
anything that night/morning at Marriott Hotel or any
other hotel leading down to Holiday Inn..

IF ANYTHING IS FOUND;  THEN CONCENTRATE A NEW, INTENSE,
FOCUSED SEARCH IN THAT IMMEDIATE/VICINITY AREA AND
WATERS OFF THE BEACH (AND LAND AREA INLAND OF THOSE
HOTELS TOO)..

Dash did say that they wore the same clothes to C&C's that they took the picture in.  She just left so you may want to ask her about the bracelet tomorrow.

I have noticed that there does seem to be an undercurrent of fashionable anti-Americanism from some of the Aruban posters on the different forums.  By no means all of them, obviously, but it is troubling to me.

If you want to read real American bashing, go to the Dutch websites.  The Arubans have been very kind compared to the Dutch.

Well, we know most of the world doesn't like our international policies.  I also think a few arrogant and "ugly Americans" tend to stick out more than the majority of us.

M. SB...I know; it's so hard to tell

Firstly, I am intrigued with your dissection of the actions.  It's difficult to follow and will go back through the posts to get them all.  BTW, you're detail is very impressive...(I hate it when I go to the restroom in the middle of a movie and can't figure out the climax let alone the denoument.

But yours, does place all the "friends" together in a mess that they had no way of extricating themselves, particularly if they were all half (or all the way crocked).

If the scenario you imply is it, then it will be an informational read about the hours after these partying fools navigated through the AM hours that all the MB crowd were either at the pool around the Hyatt (some posted that here) and/or were sleeping off the night at the Holiday Inn getting ready for their 6:30/7AM wakeup...with the expectation that Natalee, who was always the leading waker, would wish them, "Good morning."  BTW,

Thank you for your dissection of the time line

Ok, Catch 22 time.  Do I force myself to stay up and stick it out or take the chance that I'll be able to get up in a few hours to read Dan's second part?  I'm afraid I'll sleep til noon and it will be old news by then.  LOL

Honestly, I have doubts if he's going to have anything substantial to report.  If he has big news, why make us wait for hours while he types about minutia that's mostly already known?

It's only 1:25 for me; so I'm saying go for it; however, I know by 2, it's no more will power and I'll be doing a sayonara to this crew/site.

I would really like to read the whole story, too.

He's typing it all out as a narrative, like a feature story, instead of a straight news story, I guess.

I think he'll have something important to report.

You know, now that I think about it, he may be waiting for his editor to wake up in the morning, since folks were pointing out his errors (a couple of them quite sarcastically).
