If you want, you can also make a prayer bracelet. It doesn't really do anything, but we all wear them to remind us of Nat, and when people ask about them, we tell them about her and about praying for her safe return.

---  How about telling us how you make the prayer bracelet for those that are interested.   I like the idea of this.   Do you use certain colors?  How is it done?

I think "---" has left the building.  I saw the prayer bracelets on TV -- they are just braided yarn, but of course, you're supposed to say a prayer for Natalee with each turn as you braid it.

The ones I saw for Natalee that Beth was giving out to children in Aruba were mostly all done in 3 colors -- green, purple and orange, intertwined in one bracelet.  I was hoping to catch "---" and ask her what the colors meant, symbolically, but forgot to ask her while she was here.

It struck me that they are the Mardi Gras colors.  Some of the kids come down to Aruba for Carnaval, so maybe those colors mean something.  If I were making a prayer bracelet for Natalee, those are the colors I would use--I just don't have any yarn right now.
