early post here this aft. it was mentioned J said when dropped off @ home he & nat exchanged e-mail; (wonder if he has something she wrote it on & what would she write it on?) anyway seems unlikely she would have given it to him the first night they met @ HI casino b/c he would likely just get in touch @ HI (call), why e-mail esp. b/c her mobile did not work in aruba, she would not have access to e-mail thru her mobile...?  so, if he has it, would it make sense that he did give it to her then, upon departing? or could they have corresponded prior (as was once suggested) - just a stream of thought really

Re:  Chaperones
On my son's senior trip to Cancun 5 years ago, a parent was one of the chaperones.  She took a cab from Cancun to the airport to pick up a late arriving student.  The mom was taken to an abandoned airport where the cab driver tried to rob her.  Somehow, someway, she got away.  It can happen to anyone.  Believe you me, this mom was probably the most diligent and watchful parent of all the mothers of this class.

I saw where somebody was calling them "Dutch-Bag and the Scum Brothers."

His friends were calling him "Urine" on his web pages, which I assumed was because "Joran" is pronounced almost like "Yurn"--thus the pun for potty-mouth (literally) teenagers.

I kind of like it for him!

I was thinking about this info that he was sobbing in jail and the reports that he thought those guys were trying to blame him.
I would imagine that if he did not do it he knows that these guys are shady and capable of trying to frame him.  Not saying he did it or didn't but he has to know the personality of the ones he run with and what they are capable of doing to save themselves.

True! I've noticed that. It fits, because the founder, Rupert Murdoch, built up his media empire with tabloid newspapers.

It's been my default MSM outlet for a while now, because they used to not have that sort of MSM mentality. I think it's creeping in, though. So they might turn into the worst of both worlds for me.

regarding the video with the mother....when i saw that, i was surprised at how genuinely UNCONCERNED she seemed to be with regards to Natalee.  like this was someone's DOG missing not someone's DAUGHTER!  there was like NO emotion there.

Probably is used to dear son picking up girls and thinks nothing about it.  And who knows what lies he told her about this poor girls character to make it look like she was a bad person/trashy/you pick the word.
