CORPUS CHRISTI — Corpus Christi police are asking the public's help in finding a 12-year-old girl reported missing Tuesday.
She is described as a Hispanic female, about 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighing about 100 pounds with brown eyes and dyed, red hair. Cameron was last seen wearing a white tank-top, silver basketball shorts and black Nike running shoes. She also was carrying a water-carrying backpack.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 888-8477.

KRIS-TV in Corpus Christi reported that Hernandez went missing on on the 4100 block of Brett Street around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Hernandez's mother told police that her daughter went for a jog inside an apartment complex never returned home.

The family recently moved from Harlingen to Corpus Christi.

The above sentence, BBM, is concerning if those are the actual words her mother used.  Not inside her apartment complex, but inside an apartment complex.  So they are new to the area and she allows her 12-year-old daughter to run alone in some random apartment complex?  Who does that these days.  I choose to believe Cameron ran back home to Harlingen.

CORPUS CHRISTI - The 12 year old girl that went missing Tuesday night, was found by her aunt in the
1200 block of Port Avenue at noon Thursday.
The girl's aunt says she heard tips from the public that Cameron was sighted in the area of Port and Morgan.

Police say the woman was putting up flyers when she spotted Cameron and called police.
The girl was taken to Driscoll Children's Hospital as a precaution.
 
Her family was notified and is with her.
Detectives continue to investigate.
