That's what I am hearing too.  They aren't cancelling travel plans, but there are a lot of discussions regarding "chaperones" and what they should/shouldn't do.   They are also having discussions with the groups that will be traveling as to "buddy" systems and extreme caution.

I think that, if nothing else, this is one of the good things that comes out of a tragedy.
