1.  Natalee met somebody on the plane on the way to Aruba.  My question...Did Joran's Mom AND Dad go to Holland?    Where was Joran? Where were his siblings?  What were the flight connections? Did anybody ask?

2.  Date Rape Drug was mentioned.

Please don't send your child to this island to "celebrate" their graduation.  Go with them.

I am really unsure if this is the answer to your question...but I have read on Scared Monkeys and in this message board that the chief of police (polis) is Joran's godfather...Now I know here in the south that you only bestow a honor such as godfather on someone pretty special...maybe this is the Sr. VDS's best friend....Hope it helps ya anyway

I don't know if this will help you either...but in Aruba and I can not for the life of me remember the exact message board I was on, but I will check into it...there was a post and it had a link that took you to an Aruban horse training place...now it was mentioned something about horses and here in the south a way that you train horses is to put them on (for lack of a better word) leash and then they are hooked to a round metal thing that goes around in a circle (kind of like a merry-go-round) and they walk this CIRCLE. I know here in Alabama a lot of times when we have like special celebrations, such as Mayfest that companies that train these horses bring their set up and if you pay a $3 kids can ride the horses....just a thought.

one more thing that I forgot to mention...the word croes (crows) keeps on coming up and a crow is a bird and in Oranjestad, Aruba there is a Bird Sanctuary...ironic that these bird names keep coming up...one of the girls interviewed with Greta was a Byrd...hmmmmm

I got nothing today..
only the fact the Greta pointed out that at 11pm Joran already had his story ready..
now does that mean that the 'family' sat down and decided on the story that day the night after she's missing..?
seems right..
so I put the father picking up Joran that night w/out Natalee I'm not sure where she went...
Deepak & Satish drove home after they dropped them off.
Joran gets picked up by dad at 3:45am?
Joran texts Deepak to say he's home..
the next day they all get together to agree on a story..
so..
does this mean that it was all planned from the start..
cause how would Deepak & Satish know enough info
to be invited to the 'meeting'
and Croes.. where was he in all this..
after that Greta confrontation I'm really believin he was at the meeting too.
just the mere fact that he would volantarily go to the police and say he was a witness...
so all guilty at this point...
now what was the alterior motives that drove these guys to 'kidnap' this girl..it could very well be that she thought that car was a taxi..
but why would they go to the lighthouse..if it was a taxi they'de go to the hotel no.?
Deepak got bent when Joran was kissing her in the back seat of His car..
now I think that he got bent cuase she was passed out and he was taking advantage of her.. so she wakes up throws up in his car.. he's had enough he kicks them both out she doesn't want to get out..
cause she's not at her hotel.. but it's close so she stumlbes out..
where does Joran go with her..? can't get that far on foot..
says he walks home (anyone that is a child of privlage aint walkin anywhere) he either calls his dad at this point or walks with her down to the beach where he meets Croes.. right time right place.. she's not dead here.. she got out of the car and is walkin around...

I just saw the interview with Steve Croes..
he said he overheard the story at the internet cafe.
and went and told police that that was his story..
and he was a witness.. now there are people like this..
he did lose his job as a result..
and I saw Tim Miller..
and he looked exhausted..
he says he has a new direction in where to look and is excited..
he would not disclose where.. only that it was in the water..
   now I'm thinkin if they weighted her down it's quiet possible
that she'd still be in the same spot..
