Why would they threaten anyone?  I've listend for years as fellow posters and TV people said things like 'Stop listening to Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and...'  I had no idea who any of these folks were and where one might listen to them.  Seems those men and women get lots of threats for there point of view.  When does the buck stop at Obama's desk?  Why isn't he denouncing the violence?  The threats?

Six weeks ago a poll that suggested Obama may be in trouble in suburban Cook County was widely dismissed as an outlier.  Not only does a new poll of Illinois' 10th Congressional District, which includes parts of northern Cook County,  show that Illinois suburbanites are turning against the President, but a news report suggests the Obama campaign may be getting a bit desperate in its moves to ensure a high turnout among Blacks in Chicago and its south suburbs. 

I know the district well. It is affluent, with high levels of education, and very socially liberal. Voters there take pride in being politically "moderate" and wear the label as a badge of honor. Since the 1980s, the district has been represented by a Republican in Congress, but not by anyone who could be mistaken for a conservative. Al Gore and John Kerry both carried the district comfortably in 2000 and 2004. And, in 2008, Obama won over 61% of the vote in the district.

I also know the district well as most of my client base of family owned businesses lived in this district. That the 10th District seems to have turned on Obama doesn't surprise me. While voters there tend to be trendy liberals, many also have a deep pragmatic streak.  Competence and honesty often matter more than party labels and they will fire politicians who didn't perform.

Government doesn't have a charity minded bone in it's body.  People do.  People are often willing to dig deep to support causes that tug at their heart string.  For some reason, government tries to shake that bone of charity and taxpayer money ends up squandered and wasted, poverty rises, children go hungry, and the poor have more money to spend than working people. 

There are lots of conspiracy theories about JFK and I think Breitbart might be the 2012 version of that mystery. 

Folks have to wonder why the Obama admin has so many request to snoop on people 'we know all about you'...an invasion of privacy?  Trampling on individual rights?

I'm waiting for the Breitbart assassination documentaries to start-books, movies, series episodes, reenactments, docudramas...I think the Obama organization will be included in the conspiracy theories.  I recall watching Breitbart interviews where he talks about all the death threats.  I wonder if he kept track?  Reported the threats?  Or, did he keep them to himself?  If we have drones that kill by remote control...

If I had posted that 911 was an inside job and that Bush did it, would you have suggested that was some crazy thinking, IMO?   Yet, some that promoted that idea seem to have gotten some great government paychecks in the Obama administration.  I recall there was even a website and internet petition.  For some reason, we are still engaged in a war in the Middle East...two unfunded wars, financed by China...

Yes, it may be some crazy thinking, I'm still waiting for the hard evidence, the movie...

Everyone should volunteer as a poll watcher. 

Where do the ballots go when the polls close?  Are they hand counted in public view? 

Are the ballots packed in something like an overnight envelope and transported uncounted to a political official?  Someone voted into office?

Who transports the ballots?  Are they taken by a Brinks truck?  Secured in a tamper proof container?  Thrown in someone's trunk? 

If only 60 people voted that day does the ballot box look like there are thousands of votes in there when opened?

How are the ballots secured if the box must be emptied during the day?

Do people register with their good looks?

Do people vote with their good looks?

Everyone should volunteer to be a poll watcher.

Would ATMs remain in business if they had a similar error/mistake rate?
