Clarification on Cell Phone Question

Just wanted to post a clarification on the cell phone issue and whether or not NH's phone would work. This all depends on who her home service provider is:

Verizon, Sprint, Alltel, US Cellular - uses CDMA technology, no international roaming

Cingular, T-Mobile - uses GSM technology, international roaming capable

NexTel - uses iDen technology, limited international roaming

If NH was on Cinular or T-Mobile and had International Roaming activated the she could place and receive calls from/to anywhere globally.

If NH was on Verizon, Sprint, Alltel or US Cell then she could NOT place or receive calls as these carriers technology do not have the capability for international roaming.

I know there is one GSM operator on the island maybe more.

Just wanted to clarify a bit for all. I hope we and NH's parents get some positive news and that God is surrounding them with angels.

i just  switched to t mobile, will it work in aruba.. i live in pa , but sometimes it does nt even work in ohio.. thanx
