Atherton High School student missing, no foul play suspected

(WHAS11/NEWS RELEASE) -- On Wednesday November 7 Annie Simamora, a 16-year-old Atherton High School Advanced Program student, went missing from Jeffersontown.
 
She was last seen around 7:25 a.m. that morning.  Police believe she ran away, she apparently deleted her facebook account and took her cell phone which has been turned off since she left.
 
It is believed that Annie went to Pennsylvania, possibly the city of Butler area to find a friend that she met over the internet

Jeffersontown Police ask for help in finding missing girl

Police say Annie Simamora went missing from 9820 Thelma Lane in Jeffersontown about 7:25 a.m. on November 7th.
 
Simamora has apparently deleted her Facebook account and turned off her cell phone, and has not made any contact with family or friends since she disappeared.  Police believe she went to Pennsylvania, perhaps to the city of Butler to find a friend she met on the Internet.  Police there met with the man but did not find Simamora at the home.

Missing Jeffersontown girl returns home

LOUISVILLE, KY. (WDRB) -- A 16-year-old Atherton High School student who had been missing since last week has returned home and is OK, according to Jeffersontown Police.

Police say Annie Simamora went missing on November 7th.
