Amber Alert: B.C. toddler Alvin Barnett in ‘imminent danger,’ Montana police say
November 15, 2012 9:34 PM

U.S. authorities said a three-year-old boy is believed to be in “imminent danger” after his father abducted him following a supervised birthday visit in Fernie on Thursday.

RCMP Const. Dan Moskaluk said Robert Barnett, 39, visited his son Alvin Barnett in a Fernie hotel before and fleeing with the toddler
across the Montana border.

Moskaluk said Barnett had “limited and arranged parental rights” to Alvin.

Elk Valley RCMP issued an Amber Alert at 4:30 p.m.

The pair are believed to have left town in a blue 2002 Subaru Outback, with the B.C. licence plate 347 SBL, and to have travelled south on Highway 93.

Thursday night, Montana authorities issued an Amber Alert, stating that Alvin Barnett is believed “to be in imminent danger.”

The alert said video showed the suspect vehicle crossing the border at Eureka, Mont., at 3:15 p.m. Thursday.

Alvin is Caucasian, three-foot-two and weighs 35 pounds.

Nothing stating if Alvin was found safe or other. This does not sound good that no other details have been given.  I hope I am wrong.
