Missing Girl, 7, Last Seen Walking Home From School

COLUMBUS --
Columbus police missing persons detectives are looking for tips leading to the safe return of a 7-year-old girl last seen walking home from school Friday.

According to police. Akilianna Stewart, 7, was last seen walking home from school in the 200 block of Akeya Court in Columbus around 4 p.m.

Stewart is described as a black female wearing a tan and black spotted jacket, gray shirt, dark jeans, white and pink shoes with pink shoe laces.

Police did not provide a picture of Stewart.

According to police, Akilianna Stewart was attending a high school event with an older sibling when the alert was issued.
