The other threads can be locked.  At the Yahoo Chat, they are saying that pumps have been brought in to pump the pond.

The other threads are locked, or at least were when I visited just now.  

In regards to people wondering how something could be in one place for two weeks with the wind, the area being searched, according to news footage, is quite heavily vegetated and probably somewhat sheltered from the elements.

It could be the kid found unrelated items.  If this is a "lovers lane" area...I'm not sure if it is, or isn't there could be drinkin' and romancin' that goes on there.

Or, the item might have nothing to do with this at all.

Sounds shady the cops didn't grab the evidence FAST to protect any possible DNA, etc.  This is the kind of stuff perps get off on...Since I'm not watching TV I  could have this timeline all wrong.

Anymore Radio updates for those of us without TV?

FoxNews has been showing a truck with some kind of unknown heavy equipment being put in place at the scene. Had a tilt bed.

Sorry for posting everywhere, but my take is:

These new found items make no sense. The boys had the where with all to duct tape her, but not to dispose of the panties/condoms? Uh-huh. So they plan ahead one minute and the next second act totally rash?

And where did the tape come from? Was it just laying around in the car for just such an emergency? Don't buy it....

I also very highly doubt this was premeditated. Those guys did not wake up the morning of the 30th thinking it was a great day to do-in a blond tourist girl....
