So much for free speech on the internet. That's funny I frequent the yahoo board often and haven't seen anything any different over there. Probably a troll that got booted. Although I did see a theory that I am actually working on. Maybe we at the Monkey hit too close to the truth?

If something is hateful and out of line that is one thing; however, for another person to tell someone how to run their page ... is another. Disagree fine, argue a point great. No one tells us how to run our site!

I happen to think that this format works much better and all of your ideas, opinions and thoughts are terrific. Occasinal troll, but they are now dealt with swiftly. Does anyone know what they are talking about? Did I miss something?

Natalee appears to be a very conscientious lady.  Maybe when the brothers came back and dropped off Joran and Natalee at the Marriott, then Natalee said "look, I've got to get back over to the Holiday Inn."  Maybe Joran didn't walk her back.

I only want to put out some theories that keep us hopeful for her to return.  We have no evidence of her death, so it would be jumping to a conclusion to assume her death.  Therefore, we need to be mindful of multiple possible scenarios.

I still feel sure that all three of the amigos know what happened to her, and they all took part in it.

I think that elements in the Aruban government have been both incompetent and indifferent about this case. Not sure what to think about pm Oduber. Somehow, my instinct tells me he's a good man.

I also think the U.S. press has gotten in the way and hindered things.

I hope I'm wrong about all this.

The two stories that sum it all up for me, that tell me a lot about the spirit, as opposed to specific things, of how things are going, are these:

Mickey John and Jones, the other security guard, were arrested on the word of the three obvious suspects. That was unconscionable, and makes me think there is more than just bumbling cops here.

Second, the story, if it's true, of how Natalee's parents went to the Van der Sloot house and begged for information fewer than 24 hours after she disappeared.

Joran--and his father--were completely uncaring. They were confrontational, even.

For me, this story is about a lot more than investigation techniques and international complications. It's a really human story.

I've been chilled today by the callous contempt of the three suspects. By the evidence that their lives have been utterly meaningless.

But I also get to admire the patience of Mickey John, and I'm in awe of the faith and perseverance of Natalee's mother under such circumstances.

This story has had its comic characters (Geraldo). It's had its heroes and its villains. But what do you think we are supposed to learn from it all? I wonder what the ultimate message of it will be.

Anyway, sorry about that. Just posting random deep thoughts.
