Between the false NH sitings and the rumors that this site is up or down, has made this a rough day.

Whatever happened to Aruba Girls notion of the 3 amigos and the buried body at the Fisherman's Hut?

Anyone hear whether that was even remotely a valid proposition?

I have a sickening feeling that this whole search today will be another rabbit trail without an ending.

Think about this: if this search had been precipitated by the guard's statement from Deepak, where the area N of Marriott was pinpointed last night, the search team should be out there at the CRACK OF DAWN scouring the area. But they go early this afternoon instead. I hate to say it but they sounded the alarm because a kid found SOMEONE ELSE'S women's panties lying in the brush!

UNLESS there is a ID of an article of clothing of Natalee's at this site, I don't think it will pan out!

while we are in a lull...

so last night the part of this site I was posting to had over 100 pages. Is that area of the site still up and running? Is this where we should be to be in the "know"?

Red, if you can believe this (lol) I have actually heard conflicting reports from different networks as to whether this had been searched before.  Some saying it was, some saying it wasn't and should have been.

Hey Vorpman...I'm in the wireless business on the technical side and I can tell you for the island of Aruba they would have somewhere on the order of 250+, most of the networks are GSM thus meaning that as a mobile makes a call and moves through the system the serving cells are logged by the switch while the call is active. The question is has LE contacted the service providers and tracked the calls of the 3 Amigo's? We already know from a previous poster that NH had a phone (GSM - intl roaming) and that activity could be tracked as well.

Standard law enforcement tool can pinpoint towers of call and approximate location of where the call was made.  Question remains who is in charge of investigation.  If FBI was leading the search behind the scenes confirmation of story would have already been done.  I don't think thats the case.

Any more reports from Aruba? Any locals here to report what's going on in the search right now?

Red: It was stated earlier that yes the area had been searched but now in such an indepth manner. The radio sta TOP was out there last nite and early this AM, then another person claims after heard Mick J, went out there and found the stuff, hence new search. NL mentioned that she felt if there had been a confession, the "confessee" would be there too. Hope this helps "catch you up".

I think all of these guys are lying. It's just that, now, their trying to get the blame put on each other.

http://www.riehlworldview.com/carnivorous_conservative/2005/06/rumors_of_sex_a.html

This was Dan Riehl's account of their original story. It makes me think they planned to rape her...or any young woman they could get their hands on...that night.
