HATE TO BE A BIG MEANY  Twisted Evil But I say use torture at this point.  If us and some of these other countries got tough AND I MEAN TOUGH!!! This kind of crap wouldn't be going on & on & on etc. and so on.

this thing about the dad wanting to visit - why has he not been able to visit?  i think the dad knows something and he wants to continue to "coach" his son and encourage him not to talk and that "everything will be taken care of".  the reason i think this is for a couple of reasons, #1, he and his dad played poker together, i'm sure he and his dad "boozed" it up together, so why wouldn't he confide in his dad in hopes of his dad to use his influence to keep everything under wraps?  #2, the dad's behavior the evening NH's family & entourage went to visit.  i don't think the van der sloot apple falls far from the tree, if you get my drift.

if they do allow the dad and joran to visit, it better be very well monitored!

It's bad enough this kid is said to be in a porn flick. He ' sounding more and more like a first class creep!
BUT...
we should try to get it right in our discussions.

I suggest you go back and read those reports. The person reporting the news  from Fox corrected the 14 year old, to a 24 year old.  It was reportedly a porn film.

   The reference to the Chandra Levy case was to illlustrate how easy it is to hide a body in plain sight.
   To answer the question about the investigation: if what we are hearing about how it is being conducted is true, then it appears to have been hopelessly bungled. If the young man who found the underwear and other articles by the Marriot yesterday was allowed to hold onto that stuff and display it to reporters, then it's contaminated and therefore nearly valueless from an evidentiary standpoint. Even the rawest police recruit knows that physical evidence has to be preserved in the state in which it was found. Doesn't matter if the stuff turns out to be irrelevant to the case. It has to be treated, initially, as if it is.

i would think the same that the father should be allowed to visit, but the thing is the father is a very well known judge in the country and well having him with the son there you never know and not only that he is trying to get the documents as well of the case,............that was in the newspaper today "awe mainta" if he wants to visit then fine but with witnesses around if not no! and i dont think he should get the documentation of this case, he should be treated as a citizen not a judge with speacial treatment :0)

If Van der Sloot's lawyer was dismissed for discussing things he shouldn't have been discussing, maybe it's not a leak TO the press, but coaching from the father and updates FROM the press, in order to allow VDS to continue to manufacture a story.

but the father could be coaching him- shouldnt be able to visit with out someone else in hte room- when are they going to put all 3 boys in a room togethre and "seperate the men from the boys"
that would solve a lot of problems i think
