Speculation as always.. but...

When I went through all of Joran's, his friends an brothers photo albums, I could view pictures all the way to Jan 2004. There were only recently, the two brothers in only two pictures (I believe) around May/June of this year. Seems like they had just met because every picture pretty much had the same group of friends in them constistantly.

I hope against hope that they find NH, but I don't think they will cause she ain't on or around aruba n e more. This is the most bizarre story I've ever heard. She is a member of the white slavery trade now. All the weirdness only reinforces that 2 me. The slave trade is the perfect crime cause its nearly impossible 2 git caught. No body, no murder conviction. They do their time then they're free (with the money). The "Pirates of the Caribbean" are still doin bizness 2 day. What is the brothers connection w/ the main land? "student" scouts maybe?

I watched my wife's sorority sister abandon the buddy system all the time.  I couldn't beleive that they left people behind.  One eventualy got raped and has never been the same since.  I can't stress how important it is to look out for those important to you.

I don't blame Natalee's friends for what happened, but if this heart wrenching situation teaches us anything, it's to watch out for each other.

No offense, but it is sad that the citizens had to go out and search to get anything done (not to mention the guy picked all the stuff up with his hands).  The police seemed to just be standing around clueless at the search site.  They should let the FBI get more involved, they are not trained well in situations like these, since they dont often occur.

I wonder if they are going to continue guarding the area they searched today, and continue to look there tommorrow.  If not, there needs to be some folks go there to keep looking around.  They could have missed something.  Stranger things have happened.

I don't think we know it was a "false lead"!  This could be the crime scene.  It may not but we still have forensics to wait on from today, etc.

Bums me out!  MS-NBC showed this kid "dangling" the womens underwear, a piece of black electrical tape, and a condom wrapper between his fingers.  As he walked away with these items, I thought... "How stupid are these people?!"  Rightly or wrongly, there is a little thing called "chain of custody".  

What if that's really eveidence?  The place crawling with police, and they let this kid handle, much less walk away with this stuff?

And what's wrong with the media, letting that happen?  Reminds me of the cameraman taking pictures of someone bleeding.  Put the stupid camera down and do something!

That CNN report was pretty disturbing.  Despite the Natalee thing, these teenagers still went to C&C's, still got wasted, threw away the buddy system, etc.

Of course, I realize Aruba is already relatively safe and is probably safer right now than ever before.  Who'd commit a crime on an American right now??

Our boy Geraldo was at C&C's on Saturday night outside the bar and he in his report claimed there were drug dealers their in plain site and not an Aruban cop to be found. Nothing has changed at all at that place.

We could all be eating crow if it's proven that the bros did in fact drop of J then carried out their "mission" in delivering a drunken/drugged NH to their "bosses".  

Before you jump all over me for this, this is not what i think happened persay, but i would not rule it out or something like it either........

MSNBC had stated today that an evidence van went to the site. They interviewed something via phone from the FBI who stated Aruba asked them to observe with evidence collection because they are not in the practice of having to do such on the island.

it's not going to change though...

I live in NYC...and things similar (rape, murder, abduction) occur here.  I think someone is shot every week (at least it seems that way), a girl was raped in the subway station last night...but people still do what the do w/out taking precaution.  We all think we're invincible, especially in our late teens.  Maybe when it's your time it's your time?  I don't know, but in some ways we just have to live our lives.

IMO, it doesn't really matter if these guys are goodlooking,  seem have a lot going for them, or what their social status is.

Think, Ted Bundy, Robert Chambers, Scott Peterson, and a bunch of others.  These people all had something wrong on the inside, no matter how good they "looked" on the outside.

When they snap, they snap.  They never think they will be held accountable.  They are charmers when they want to be, and people never believe they could be capable of the things they are accused of.

They quite likely called this van in in case they found something?  Or, anything they did find that COULD be evidence had to be treated properly.  No telling whether or not anything found was related.  Guess we'll be waiting the standard Aruban 24 hours (kinda like Mexico time) for the answers...........See ya next week???
