Oreilly is going to have students that were with Nat on trip on tomm night.  This is why I love this man!!!!  I wish he would have slapped Geraldo.

O'Reilly x (2+1) = Geraldo x (1+2).  Though I will stipulate that both men started out being journalists.

WWizard, that is NOT true. Show some back-up evidence or take it back.

ur rite, I can't prove it, so I'll take it back. But, that is my understanding. (memory serves it's own master) thru ought history the netherlands has been one of the most lenient countries in a variety of things.

can u demonstrate that I'm wrong?

Most likely. I went over there earlier today and someone was copying posts from here and posting them over at TA.

IF that's true about Jv/dS calling from jail, I think I'll renounce my citizenship. Okay, not really, but still. That would be  incredibly horrible.

Arubagirl--

I'm afraid that sort of thing is pretty common in the U.S., too.

There have been convicted criminals (of the organized crime type) who are able to run their drug rings from prison because they have enough money to bribe the guards to let them use cell phones, prison phone.

I think there was once even a credit card number theft operation that was being run by guards and inmates in a prison here.

So the U.S. is probably no better in this regard.

But there is a big difference in charged (and under investigation) vs convicted

Just think, this is just the stuff we know about.  There is no telling what else this guy has done.  All of this while maintaining good grades and get a scholarship to play soccer in the US.

Gangbanging a 14 year old can not be rape if consensual and all participants are under 18.

Cancunmole, I thought that the 2 experts that were being talked about were the Dutch experts that v/d STraaten was talking about, that they were interrogation experts.

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS ONE?

There is a guy posting on the Trip Advisor forum as "wayback" who claimed that he can CALL JORAN IN THE JAIL! He said all you have to do is leave a message and that the "prisoner" LOL can return the call!

This is what this guy has just posted on Page 26:

This is Joren's story.....We went to the beach, I wanted to fool around, she refused. I got mad, she got mad....said she was walkin back to the hotel...I said I will walk you back...she said no and stormed off....I called the brothers and told them something bad had happened....all I meant was she was mad and upset....they came and picked me up...don't know what happened to her after that....

I have no eathly idea if he is legit or not but it sure is getting strange. As if it wasn't enough already.

Ahah!  If that were true, it would be a third story.  But I'm afraid I don't buy a word.

I read that when it was first posted...I don't think the guy claims that he talked to joran...

I think he is merely stating that if Joren told that story, w/out any evidence, he would be free of blame

MissyRose, I'm pretty sure that the law is different here. Here it's younger than 16 and older than 16, I think.

Alabama mom - right "next door" - they really just kind of border each other in some places.  Even though both are technically "cities", some just consider them neighborhoods, large ones at that.
