Arubagirl,

No, it wasn't that the FBI wasn't experienced in diving in rough waters. Sorry, I had to laugh at that. We've got oceans on both sides of our country! Of COURSE they know how to dive in oceans and rough waters. And our coast guard's pretty amazing, too when it comes to dive teams.

No, they said they left because Aruban authorities wouldn't tell them where to dive and they weren't going to just jump in any old random place and start swimming all the way around the island. They had to know what areas were being investigated. And they're busy guys. They weren't going to stand around for weeks doing nothing when they've got stuff to do back here in the US.

--- , we have to keep steadfast as once again, there is no proof of death.  They have the guys with the answers and the answers will come.

I read that Natalee rolled down the window and shouted as she drove off with the three guys.  Are there any thoughts that, in hindsight, that she was shouting for help?

As I understand, the team came around June 5th/6th, the cops pointed at the area between Arashi Beach and California lighthouse, FBI said oh hell no and went back.

Locals were also, like WTF?

arubagirl said "About the dive team not swimming, seems that they were not experienced in rough waters, but in lakes / rivers.
So I've heard."

2 divers can't search the whole sea.  The had to have a clue where to start.  The were in the h2o today.

writenow, I'm not saying that no FBI knows how to swim in rough waters, uh DUH.

I'm saying that the TEAM that came didn't know how to. Besides, that's what I've heard.

FBI areas of superior(?) expertise:  1)Interrogation, 2) Psycholological profiling 3) Computer intelligence  and other stuff, so to speak!

That's all true.  But we don't know, can't know how involved the FBI is.

After what I saw, when everyone went hyper during that North of the high-rise area fiasco, I have to think they are not even advising.  Some kid, I saw it, was allowed to walk off with potential eveidence.  And that's after he dangled it, literally, before the cameras.

I'm more irritated with the media than I am with the FBI.  Grrrr!  Drop the stupid camera and go, "Hey!  Police!  Get this stuff in an eveidence bag, NOW!"

But Noooah!  They film the kid walking off with it.

What's so horrible on the Evidence thread here?  I just got a group message from the Yahoo Holloway group.  The author is screaming about Scared Monkeys....

This website http://www.scaredmonkeys.com/Discussion/ has some of
the most appalling coverage!  Is any of it true, how can they do this
type of coverage?  Under the Theory and Speculation message board.
Is this type of coverage even legal?  I am gonna email them to remove
it!

       GOD BLESS

It was 3:30 when I gave it up and then I had to get up at 6:30 and listen to those cheerleaders scream for 4 hours.

Very bad headache here....

A beach with very shallow water where the fishermen, have, well, huts to where to cleain their catch. It's also a popular windsurfing spot. Not so much a swimming spot, bottom is a bit rocky there.

I used to go bbq-ing there all the time.

But sssshhhh, don't tell anyone, it's illegal.
