Bryan Ivey, 22, was last seen on Interstate 20 in Douglasville.

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Ga. -
The family of a Carroll County man missing since Friday is holding out hope for his safe return. Bryan Ivey, 22, was last seen on Interstate 20 in Douglasville.

Detectives say that Ivey told a passing deputy that his 1998 Ford Explorer had overheated. Family members said that his sudden disappearance is out of character.

"If he sees this, I love him more than anything. I want nothing more than for him to just come home," said Kristen Ivey, Bryan's wife of four years.

Kristen Ivey said that Bryan dropped her off from work on Friday morning and was supposed to pick her up that evening but never made it.

The family is distributing flyers and using social media to get the word out on the search. His cell phone is not working. His wife said that he had a large amount of money on him when he dropped her off at work that morning.

I stand with the girl, Natalee Holloway.

"I can look back over the past 10 years and there were no steps wasted, and there are no regrets,'' she said. "I did all I knew to do and I think that gives me greater peace now." "I've lived every parent's worst nightmare and I'm the parent that nobody wants to be," she said.

West Ga Weather

Bryan Ivey has been missing for about 24 hours. He was last seen on I20 in Douglasville. His car was broken down and a police officer stopped to help him and when the car started he drove off again. That is the last anyone has seen or heard from him. He is 22 years old, brown hair, blue eyes, about 6 feet tall, and about 215 lbs. He was last seen wearing a blue American Eagle shirt with the number 17 on the front, jeans, and a Georgia Bulldogs baseball cap. He was driving a white 1998 Ford Explorer. Please help spread his picture in the hopes that someone will see and recognize him. Please keep Bryan Ivey and family in your prayers for his safe return.

The family made the announcement on a Facebook page set  up to find the missing man. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Ivey had been found. They gave no other details.
