I guess she is an expert that will support Dr. Horn's findings - that Travis if shot first could not have gotten up and been a threat
to Jodi as she asserts.

Which side begins closing arguments, anyone know? TIA!

Closing Arguments

When both sides have presented their evidence, each side may make closing arguments. Closing arguments are similar to opening statements. They provide an opportunity for the attorneys to address the judge or jury a final time. The plaintiff/prosecutor speaks first, usually summarizing the evidence that has been presented, and highlighting items most beneficial to the prosecution. The attorney for the defendant speaks next. The defense attorney will usually summarize the strongest points of the defendant’s case and point out flaws in the case presented by the prosecutor. The prosecutor then has one last opportunity to speak.

Thx. Come to think of it, that's the way it was in the Casey Anthony case too.

I think I'd pull in the medical examiner again rather than yet another psychologist. JMO.

There's so much in psychology that is subjective and arbitrary that I'd just bar it all from court. You can always find someone to disagree with someone else and in the end, I think juries generally conclude that dueling experts just cancel each other out.

Juan: "Do you Redeemer testifying in other proceedings that you no longer treat patients
You devote all your time to consulting.............
$250.00 an hour up to $2500.00 a day

Given your experience he could have been dead and that would explain the lack of blood
Yes, sir.

When did you get involved?
Last Nov.

Juan asks to approach.

How do you guys think Dr. Geffner has done? IMO, he's better than that first expert that gave Jodi the book, but not nearly as good as the State's expert. As far as La La Violet goes, I really think she hates men and spends her days picking flowers and giving the "peace" sign at the tie dye store.. JMO

Dr, Drew just made a great point that we've all made today already. He said that we SHOULD be hearing from a forensic neurologist or brain surgeon that could testify with authority about the damage of ballistic injury to the brain accounting for the velocity of the bullet, etc.

Yes.......

He comes off as someone who knows nothing about testifying about a brain. so, for me, it seems like a desperate
attempt by Wilmott to fix her previous witnesses: Alyce Violette and Dick Samuels.
Spilling his water not once but twice. Constantly drinking water = a sign of his anxiety.

His attempt to discredit that young little PhD DeMarte is just that an attempt. It actually makes her look more
professional then Alyce LaViollet and Dick Samuels.

His previous testimony in other cases questionable was devastating. Similar to Samuels background.

I'm sure that the defence could hand pick a credible psychologist to tell the truth, but they seem to only find
these similar hucksters. It's a shame on all psychologists out there - that are good.

I think Dr. Geffner has done better than the other two. I think Dr. Samuel was taken by Jodi. I think you are right about La La Violet is a man hater. Neither one did the defense any good. Is it almost over I hope. Since I am watching on HLN. We are just on the defense crossing Geffner after Juan finished his cross.

You stated my opinion quite well, Kermit! Wink

He did not come off as badly as Alyce or Dr. Samuels, but he came off as a hired gun to me, and not a person I trust in the least.

I think Juan, once again, did an exceptional job of cross with him.

Have they gone for the night? I never heard what the plans are for this break.

Nevermind, they are back.

Guess Judge Stephens meant it when she said they would be here as long as it takes?

We'll see.
