oh fork it. Don't bother to read my last post. It is full of spelling errors. Dang it. My apologies.

I'm just a bit peeved. They should have held court and stop this nonsense. Allowing witness to dictate
how the court will or won't show their face is ridiculous.

I can't read the tattoo.......... wonder if it's spelled correctly?

I know!! It's Patty's Fault!!     If Patty hadn't asked Jodi to be in her wedding, Jodi wouldn't have wanted to get married, and it wouldn't have mattered so much that Travis was moving on with his life and Jodi wouldn't have had to kill him!!

This was a photo the Prosecution put up during the impact statements.
I thought this is how we should remember Travis and not those other
photos of him that Jodi took.

Jodi Arias will speak "about who she is," defense lawyer tells jurors weighing death penalty

Arias herself would also speak, Nurmi said, "in a different way -- not about what happened, but about who she is."

"When you hear who Ms. Arias is, you will understand that life is the appropriate penalty," Nurmi said.

Talk about  So she had a tough life cry me a river. No one has a prefect life. But we don't going around slaughtering people. After you hear who she is you will understand and not give her the death penalty. Really  She knows right from wrong and she knew what she was doing.  She didn't just kill Travis she slaughtered him. To me there is no difference between her killing Travis than so many of the others scum bags that we have followed on Scared Monkeys.

Victim's family testifies in Jodi Arias case
Published May 16, 2013

<snipped>

Siblings of Travis Alexander broke down in tears as they made an impassioned plea to jurors that Arias be executed for stabbing him to death in 2008.

Steven Alexander said he suffered ulcers, went on antidepressants, was separated from his wife and cannot sleep because of the horrible dreams.

"I don't want these nightmares anymore," Steven Alexander told the jury, at times almost sneering with anger as he recalled what happened to his beloved brother. "I don't want to have to see my brother's murderer anymore." ....

Sister Samantha Alexander became emotional as she described how their grandmother, who raised the victim, saw her health fail after the killing and died around the time of jury selection.

"Travis was the glue in our family," Samantha Alexander said. She also recalled her brother's charisma, sense of humor, insight and "huge smile."

Steven Alexander recalled the moments after he learned that his brother had been killed.

"I remember walking out my back door and screaming at the sky, asking why," Alexander said. "Then I sank down into a corner and I cried some more." ....

Travis Alexander's sister Samantha, sobbing as she read her statement, said her family's lives will "never be the same" following her brother's murder.

"Our minds are permanently stained with the images of our poor brother's throat slit from ear to ear," Samantha Alexander said. "To have Travis taken so barbarically is beyond any words we can find to express our horrific loss.

After today's heartfelt victim impact statements, I felt I needed to make this.

NANCY GRACE
Childhood Friend Describes Jodi Arias; Jodi Arias Trial
Aired April 4, 2013 - 20:30   ET

<snipped>

GRACE: Patti, I know that you have been a long-time friend of Jodi Arias and that you have actually visited her behind bars. You were very, very close with her as recently as your wedding. ....

We have heard Jodi Arias`s parents recently on tape describing many, many problems that Jodi had, Jodi Arias had growing up, including growing pot as young as the 8th grade. They said that her friends would often call them, saying that Jodi Arias has got a problem and she needs help, begging her mom and dad to please help her.

Did you see any warning signs, Patti?

PATTI, CHILDHOOD FRIEND OF JODI ARIAS (via telephone): Well, like I said, I did lose contact with Jodi for a few years because I did get married and I started my family. So there was a few years that I didn`t -- I`m sorry -- that I didn`t have any contact with Jodi. But the years that I was with Jodi every day or at least had phone conversations, you know, in contact with Jodi, I never saw any of those behaviors at all. No.

GRACE: So you guys knew each other all the way back to the 6th grade, right?

PATTI: Yes, that`s right.

GRACE: Well, you know, looking back on it, I think many, many people, including myself, consider those friends you had in childhood, in middle school and high school some of your very best friends. And those friendships last a lifetime.

You told me that -- you told us that it seemed surreal when you visited Arias behind bars. What did you mean by that?

PATTI: I`m sorry. It`s heart-breaking, you know, from somebody that you grew up with and you loved so much -- you know -- I`m sorry. It`s just really heart-breaking. But you know, it`s hard to believe that somebody that you grew up with and you loved and you shared so many memories with is being -- at that time -- at that time, I didn`t watch the trial at all. So I was thinking accused. But later on, I found out that she did admit to it. So I was -- it was surreal. And it`s heart-breaking.

GRACE: When you said "so many wonderful memories," what memories are those?

PATTI: Well, you know, of course, being in my wedding is one of them, and you know, just going to junior high together and spending every moment -- every waking moment together. She -- she took all my pictures for my wedding.

GRACE: .... I heard you mention that you were with each other practically every day. Did you know about her growing pot in the 8th grade and getting in trouble for it?

PATTI: Oh, I don`t really want to comment on that. ....

GRACE: What was she like growing up?

PATTI: Well, what was she like growing up? She was amazing. She was a kind person. She was funny. Like, everybody knows she was a beautiful artist and photographer. She was athletic, actually. She`s extremely funny. And just everybody loved her. In fact, everybody just wanted to -- she was a great person. Everybody wanted to be Jodi`s friend.

GRACE: You know, her parents told police point blank that she had had mental problems, is the way they put it, and was deceptive them from a very young age. You never saw any of that?

PATTI: No, I didn`t. I didn`t see that at all. You know, I was with her every day. And we were kids and we had fun. We played. And you know, we just did kid things together. And I never recognized any of that. And you know, she was just a great person. And I feel that I was really blessed to have her as my friend while I did. ....

GRACE: ... Patti, as you hear the evidence roll out in the courtroom, has your opinion changed at all about what you believe happened the day Travis Alexander was killed?

PATTI: Well, when I first found out about it, you know, I thought, Well, this -- this could not have happened. This definitely wasn`t my friend that did this, you know? It was two other people. But now that she admitted it, you know, I am now coming to terms that it really did happen. You know, it`s hard. It`s painful. And it`s -- I wish that -- I wish that she would have reached out for help before it came to all of this.

GRACE: ... Does it scare you in any way when you realize the amount of time you spent with Arias, just like Travis Alexander, that she could have ever turned on you?

PATTI: You know, no, I don`t because I don`t believe Jodi was that person. Like I said, Jodi was a different person when I knew her than she is now. I believe people change over the years, and I think that`s just what happened to her.
