Donovan, Jodi's twitter writer is there.

He mother seemed to be taking notes. Is she writing a book too?!

Dr. Drew called Donovan a guy the other night. I started laughing. Then he corrected himself.
Donovan is like SNL Pat me thinks.

I heard a press conference that Travis' family is going to file a lawsuit which they will most likely when
and then they can go after any money Jodi & her family try to make off of Jodi's murder of Travis.

Yeah, I heard Marcia Clark discussing it. She said it really needs to be done to keep Jodi from profiting from the murder.

First time I have ever seen her NOT look at the jury being seated.

Usually she would seem to make eye contact with them. In a pleading sort of way.

Something else I noticed - her wearing white like a saint.

...and her attorneys in black.

Guess they know they have no prayer.

heh

LOL

I was hoping Jodi would break out in a song and try to play crazy today.

I thought Son of Sam law prevented them from profiting automatically?

I just voted and I guess we are, so far, all in agreement - within 24 hours.

Personally, I wished it would take 2 minutes for the jury to come back.

When Juan did that two minute silence - my mind started visualizing Travis trying to
get away from Jodi. Gruesome.

Kermit

Hopefully each jury member took full advantage of that two minute silence to stop and contemplate the literally h--- on Earth that Travis Alexander experienced on so many levels prior to gasping for his last breath.

I don't know how Son of Sam plays out, Kermit. Marcia Clark was making the point that OJ was able to keep his retirement and keep funds from the Goldman family even though they were able to get his book assets because of the civil trial decision. Good question.

I agree. It just was so powerful, to me, it seemed like forever and thinking he was being stabbed, shot etc was
overwhelming.

Yeah, that is right. I just thought it was automatic, but I guess not. What a shame.

I heard Dr. Drew call Donovan a guy also. It was so funny how he followed that up, by saying he sees Donovan as a male name. LOL Nothing about Donovan looking like a guy.

Pat, indeed.

The verdict of the jury found Jodi Arias guilty of the premeditated murder of Travis Alexander.  However ... the death penalty is determined on the manner of that premeditated murder.  What difference does it make!  Dead is dead is dead!  Justice demands that the scales balance.  What am I not getting?  In my world ... Jodi would get the death penalty for premeditated murder period.  No exceptions!

Was Jodi Arias cruel? Jurors deliberate in next phase of murder trial
Wed May 15, 2013

(CNN) -- Jodi Arias sobbed in an Arizona courtroom Wednesday as jurors weighed whether she was cruel when she killed her ex-boyfriend in 2008.

Around her, the courtroom was silent for two minutes.

That's how long Travis Alexander suffered in pain as Arias attacked him, Prosecutor Juan Martinez said.

"Does that seem like a short period of time? It was an incredibly long period of time to be continually stabbed, to be continually followed," Martinez said in his closing argument in the aggravation phase of the trial -- a key step that will determine whether Arias will face the death penalty.

<snipped>

Jurors found Arias guilty of first-degree murder a week ago.

Before they can consider imposing the death penalty, they now must answer a key question: was Arias cruel when she killed Alexander?
