Hi BT, good to see you in one piece.

I remember that you were praying for Leah, the one year old who had leukemia.  The family wants to thank everyone for your prayers.  I printed out all the prayers and good thoughts from all the caring monkeys and told them there was also plenty of monkeys who were praying who didn't say so out loud.

Leah is suffering no more, she passed into God's loving arms last Saturday.  She has had a really rough life and will be missed but her long suffering is over.

I am so sorry to hear that Leah lost the fight.  Please convey my sympathy to her family.  I know they must be heartbroken.

Those of you who can give blood and/or platelets, this would be a good time to remind you that summer is a tough season for blood banks.  Every day there are sick children and adults who require blood products to stay alive.  YOU can be the source of those blood products.  It's easy.  It's painless.  It'll make you feel good.  I can't donate anymore because of the ovarian cancer but I know some of you are healthy enough to do so.  Do it for all the people who aren't as healthy as you are.  People like Leah, None's hubby and me.  Thank you.  Off that soapbox.

Good morning.  I am now all caught up!  WOOHOO!  Since I am apparently here alone, I need to grab a shower and head to chemo.  What fun.  It's incredibly boring.  Think about me from 9-2p today and visualize.  This will be number 3 of 12 rounds.  It's going well and technically, I am disease-free at this time.  The 12 rounds of maintenance are to clean up anything microscopic that may be cruising around.  I'll be back later today.

BT, I am so sorry for the loss of your aunt.  Doesn't matter how old she was, it's still a loss.  I hope you and yours have plenty of good memories of her to sustain you.

Smoochies to all.

Thanks VMS.

Just an addition to the story I will tell about Aruba.  Not only can you rape and murder an 18 year old girl you get rewarded for it also.

It says he was awarded what is equivalent to $28,000 U.S. dollars.  I seem to remember Joran was awarded $26,000 by Aruba without even going to trial.  I guess Dennis Jacobs can buy all the frosted flakes he wants.

From Visit Arub site of Dairio link that Leslie just posted!

BLACKJACK TOURNAMENT. Mike Posner at the Excelsior Casino is equally active. The casino at the Holiday inn Sunspree will be hosting a Blackjack Tournament just before the 2006 Aruba Ultimate Poker Classic, September 23– October 1. This is no joke, a BJ tourney was just added on by the same people who play poker and it will be televised on CBS. Mike says it is a 20 million dollar free advertising bonus for Aruba and he wants 10%, as a joke! The tournament will premier Saturday September 16th on CBS and will be watched by millions. The tournament introduces an action packed elimination style blackjack and promises to be truly entertaining.  We hear Ben Affleck and Jennifer Tilley learned BJ to diversify their portfolio  . . .

Thanks, Peaches, I know her family will appreciate your kind words and your fight to help others like Leah.  Her family could really use prayers.  Leah has been on morphine since she was 6 weeks old so she has been fighting a long time.  Her father has lost his job in all this and the family has a long way to go to begin to heal.

It does piss me off.  I'm not surprised at all.  This is all in the script and they are acting out the final scene.  They are going to claim the Van der Sloots were victims in this case.  They want to make sure Paulus' background is clean.  As far as bringing in other judges to make sure everything is fair is just BS.  These other judges all work under the same system.  No fellow judge is going to convict another judge who was doing the same thing as them.  It just so happens this judge got caught.
