Carnut, I wish you could fix mine.  I can't keep power to my laptop, it's not the A/C adaptor, it is in the computer where it connects. I had this problem once before, I need to send it in, but don't want to be without it. I can work with it and get to on power, but can't move it any or I lose power and go to battery.

Guess you might ought to look at buying a used backup while you get your's repaired and then give the backup to someone as a present.

Or see if rentals are available in your area.

tough question CP, he's quite weak and a bit discouraged but I teased him with fantasies of the nurses that are scheduled to come tomorrow.   we haven't met them yet.

Why is KJ so reluctant to give the judge the full case file on Joran? Thoughts?

She doesn't want anyone to know what a mess she's made of it.  When she passes it off to the next prosecutor, she can just claim she doesn't know how all the files were lost.  Or maybe her office will conveniently catch on fire before she leaves, if you get my drift.

I think tourism will fade away for Aruba and be replaced by selling out their natural resources in time, but then again I may be wrong. If you look at the Netherlands and their acceptance of crimes against children alone and their human trafficking of women, both readily accepted with no penalty - it's not hard to see how Aruba became what it is now.

We just didn't want to believe it was true I suspect, for we like this family, think it should shock the world. I am unsure if it does, another layer of tragedy upon this case.

Unfortunately, their natural resources are their women and their children.

I think KJ is going to bring criminal charges against J2K. Timing dependent on the civil proceedings in the U.S. .

We do have another computer, but it is in the basement.  I just need to bite the bullet and send it in (I do have extended warrenty on laptop as I have so many problems).  That way I can devote all my attention to the kitchen redo.

Unrelated, and from reading your interest on the goings on in NL, i have a quote for you from Dutch poster Dugo on RWV. In response to why hasn't KJ been fired...

"I don't know what a prosecuter needs to do to get fired here. Even getting caught with a collection of kiddie porn (Tonino) seems insufficient to get the pinkslip."

I have thought she had an ace or two up her sleeve and was going to pull it/them out and that is why she isn't showing her hand.  

On the other hand, if she does, delaying justice is just cruel to the family.

Incest is accepted practice there now, so who minds a pedophile prosecutor? Beats all doesn't it? I hope they fold in on themselves and I also suspect both the Netherlands and France will have their day of infamy with some of their own immigrants that have grown to despise them one day soon.

It's hard to have any thoughts at all with what feels like Perpiring Perp Paulus around, I'm just seeing the color red--and not our friend Red either.  
       

I don't know how handing over ANY of the case file was legal under any system.
Antonio Carlo is Joran's lawyer.
Paulus works in the same law firm.
Paulus is released as a suspect.
He then sues the justice officials for detaining him on " suspicions ".
Paulus then files a money suit. He then gets to see what they have in their case files. Joran is still a suspect and some of the info in the case files applies to the case against Joran.
................
Karin Jansen signs the detainment papers against Paulus and she has to provide the " suspicions ".
She then writes a letter to whom ? saying they have no evidence against Paulus.  
................
I am too stupid to figure out their system / or / this doesn't make any sense at all.
................
The HT's try to get the case info and are told NO they can't until the case is closed or the two years are up with no charges.
