Why was NH's mom kinda... "evasive" about the details of her history on the island? Like how she found out where Urine lived, or how she felt when speaking to NH's roomates? She often answered something to the effect 'I'm not going to comment on that right now' or 'that's not important at this time' etc. Has she done anything wrong or anything she may not be proud of or otherwise not want to reveal to the court of public opinion?

I'm honestly not being accusatory nor "flaming" anyone or anything, but just curious.

The released suspect who told the media of his conversation with Deepak did not seem like he was lying when initially interviewed. He looked solidly into the eyes and camera. Later, when he appeared with is mother on Fox, he would not look up when answering the same questions about jailhouse snitch story. It did not look right. One thing I noticed is that in the first interview, he said that Deepak told him these things in jail since he did not know who he was. Later he said that Deepak apologized for lying about the Holiday Inn security guards and that Deepak recommended they be released.

Okay, I read the above comments from Riehlworld and I see the points here, but this is what I think.  First of all, I didn't find the fact that Mickey looked down to mean anything.  I think it depends on whether he is being interviewed in person or not.  If he's talking to a person face to face he would look at them.  If I were being interviewed and couldn't see the person, could only hear them in my ear, I would probably look down.  Just my take on it and what I thought when I watched him.  As far as the other observation about his talk with Depak, maybe there were two seperate conversations.  One when Depak didn't know who he was and one later.  I don't know.  Anyone else?

After what he just went through, I think I would be looking down too. Reminds me of when I was in school and the teacher would go around the room looking for volunteers and you would look down so not to be noticed. Look what looking up got them, jail. Think I would be pretty skiddish. I think they have the right 3 in jail. Finally.

If you read the transcript of Mickey's interview with MSNBC, he says when they brought Deepak in and put him in the cell next to him, he acted kinda cool and casual. Asked him if he'd seen the guys arrested on TV. Deepak said yeah, they were from Grenada. Right then Mickey knew Deepak had no idea who he was talking to. He played him until he got info out of him.
