Question:

Yesterday, somebody replied to me that the FBI was there because it's a kidnapping, kidnapping federal crime, hence the FBI.

Now, what I'm wondering is this: Does the FBI usually jump in a) between 24 - 48 hours of an adult's disappearance (Ihave 72 hours in my head. Could be from watching too much tv) and b) Do they jump in although there is not a clear-cut case for a 'kidnapping'. There has been no ransom note (that we know off), not a phone call (ditto), ANYTHING linking this to a kidnapping.

Hi Everyone!! Greetings from Upstate, NY

I've been trying to get caught up..had a busy day.
As far as the search..from what I've read in my "true Crime" books over the years..there is a saying..something is always taken to the scene..and something is always taken away from the scene. My guess. the investigators didn't want to take anything to the scene..to get mixed in..and throw things off.

As Far as Mickey John..I think I heard that Mickey and Deepak were brought into a room before Mickey was released..and they both had to sign a "document" saying they had never seen each other before and did not know each other. That is why Mickey said Deepak did not who he was earlier.

I love the mug idea, but do you really want the "e" in "junkey"?   Sorry Embarassed

To be honest, I do not know. We did it for symmetry. What do you all think?

Seriously, you are the customer. I am just a guy with Photoshop and ideas.

How about this on the coffee mug? It will have it on both sides and a wonderful quote in the middle saying

For A Dash of Truth Be a Monkey Junkey

GREAT...except I'd like to see JunkIE instead of JunkEY...just to be different.

I agree Van der sloot has an arrogant appearance. He stikes me as someone that I would not trust. However I do think he has been protected in this.  I think maybe because he is a minor  the Aruban authorities did not treat him as they did  the two security guards. That was an obviuos flaw in judgement.

At first I wondered about it, but just for a minute...realized it went with "monkey" better that way.  Doesn't matter to me.  I want one no matter how you spell it!

If you read the transcript of Mickey's interview with MSNBC, he says when they brought Deepak in and put him in the cell next to him, he acted kinda cool and casual. Asked him if he'd seen the guys arrested on TV. Deepak said yeah, they were from Grenada. Right then Mickey knew Deepak had no idea who he was talking to. He played him until he got info out of him.

mickey was telling the truth in as much as he could...
trust me I know how he looks when he is not being truthful!!

He was probably trying to listen to his earpiece.  It's easier to concentrate looking down (no distractions).

My grandmother was kidnapped 2 years ago. The FBI was on it within 48 hours...Thank God!

I think "junkie" would be better than "junkey."  "Junky" would be the correct spelling.  Sorry, it's a bad habit I have Embarassed  Love the idea!

I logged on not so long ago; how do you go about getting a t-shirt?  Thanks

How close is Grapefield to the location of the spot that Gerbster (sp?) says in their prediction?

Can one of you guys answer the question whether there was a confrontation of some kind with the guys from MB and one or more of the suspects that night?
Yes, Dash and some of the others said Joran got into a shoving match with some of the Mnt. B. boys, but I think it was the night before at the Casino.
No, I saw an interview w' one of the MB boys on local news who said he saw Urine that night when he broke up that tussle.

I agree that I, too, would love a shirt either way...What about italicizing the "ey" in both words to emphasize that it was meant to be that way?  That might be cool!
