Did anyone ever post a link to the original alert on trip advisor?

Do you mean the one which started the forum for Natalee? Which alert?

Dash handle herself in a more mature manner than DEE FINE. She acted like a complete child. trying to get the last word which she clearly knows nothing about.

OK - I have just finished catching up on no less than 50 pages worth of posts.  You guys are too fast (and my other life has really intruded on my computer time today)!

Just some random thoughts I wanted to put out there:

1.     DASH - You couldn't have done a better job!  What a true friend Natalee has in you.  You represented your group so well and such composure for an 18 yr old (I used to faint having to give book reports).  And look how proud of you everyone on this site is - gave me goosebumps reading all the accolades they gave you.

2.     DEE FINE:  Just to sum her up in a nutshell - she was the local president for this area's chapter of MADD (Mother's Against Drunk Drivers) about 15 - 20 years ago while her adorable son was running around town partaking in all types of substances (i.e. not alcohol).

3.     SAFETY:  All I've heard for 2 weeks now is "this never happens in Aruba".  Well, it doesn't happen here either.  We only lock our doors when we go on vacation.  If my car keys aren't sitting in the ignition my car at home, then I have no idea where they are.  The exterminator, plumber and everyone else knows to come on in, whether we are home or not.  It's just like that here.  I am probably worse than most because it's the way I grew up in town and people that have moved here from different cities are most assuredly not so lax, but that's one thing to love about this community.  Crime doesn't happen here either.

4.     TSHIRTS/COFFEE CUPS:  LOOKS FANTASTIC!!! But at the risk of sounding greedy (which I will admit to), hm, hm, remember who came up w/ the original idea????

I enjoy reading more than posting, but I especially enjoy all the thoughts/concerns/ideas y'all put out there.  You are a fine group of people to care so much about Natalee and her family.
Welcome KKM!  You know Dash?

Guys while things are slow.  What do you think about having a SM "reunion" next year?   Perhaps we could get Arubagirl and Native to give us a real tour?

Just an idea..

Excellent idea Rogers....would be our pleasure Wink

I just caught the last part of BO's show.  Dash was so articulate and composed!  I am so proud of her for clarifying what she felt was important to clarify.  She has a bright future ahead of her, for sure!

Dash, no one knocked on my door or called this time and I got to watch it.  You did a great job.  And I truly mean that. You looked great and handled youself SO well.  Wow, handled it like a pro.  No wonder the phone is ringing.  You didn't look like some spoiled rich kid just home from her crazy drunken Aruba trip.  And I promise you there were many out there (our trolls for instance) that were probably expecting kids from this trip to be just what I described.  You represented your fellow students welll and I think may have stumped a few people who had preconceived notions of what this trip and its travelers were all about.  Kudos, young lady!

Maybe in a day or two - looks like they archive his shows, but I imagine they don't show up on the Web site right away.

well lainey, the nickname 'arubagir' is a bit presumtuous. Not like I'm the only on the island.

Ita, wasn't it you who asked if v/d Sloot has a sister? Well, I can tell if they do have one, she's not living with them.

Thanks for the info.  It was someone else's find and one of those things that was posted *as if* it were factual, so I had it in the "maybe" category to check out.  Thanks again.

Where is the Santa Lucia area of the Island, where the helicopter supposedly was today?

Aruba Girl,

We heard today about possible searches at the Bubali Bird Sanctuary and Santa Lucia.  Did you hear anything about that?  Also, could you help us by providing some general info regarding some locations:

Santa Lucia (a mountain on the coast opposite of Oranjestad?) – couldn’t find on the map to verify
General area (town) of Van der Sloot home (direction and approx. minutes from Marriott/Holiday Inn)
General area (town) of Kelpoe bros home (direction and approx. minutes from Marriott/Holiday Inn)

Bon Nochi everyone...just saw Dash on O'Rielly...pretty benign stuff..she seemed to do well..and he wasnt out of line...anything going on?...I am most afraid that the "volatility" of this situation is wearing down...and the "story" will fade...AiA or Native on?

LOL, I bet that is a popular screen name around there!   You are alot nicer that the one I was in a chat with the other night,... Very Happy
She was claiming to be VERY involved in the case and to know all these inside details but not dishing it out so everyone was ranting.  I just watched them argue among themselves.
