OK - I have just finished catching up on no less than 50 pages worth of posts.  You guys are too fast (and my other life has really intruded on my computer time today)!

Just some random thoughts I wanted to put out there:

1.     DASH - You couldn't have done a better job!  What a true friend Natalee has in you.  You represented your group so well and such composure for an 18 yr old (I used to faint having to give book reports).  And look how proud of you everyone on this site is - gave me goosebumps reading all the accolades they gave you.

2.     DEE FINE:  Just to sum her up in a nutshell - she was the local president for this area's chapter of MADD (Mother's Against Drunk Drivers) about 15 - 20 years ago while her adorable son was running around town partaking in all types of substances (i.e. not alcohol).

3.     SAFETY:  All I've heard for 2 weeks now is "this never happens in Aruba".  Well, it doesn't happen here either.  We only lock our doors when we go on vacation.  If my car keys aren't sitting in the ignition my car at home, then I have no idea where they are.  The exterminator, plumber and everyone else knows to come on in, whether we are home or not.  It's just like that here.  I am probably worse than most because it's the way I grew up in town and people that have moved here from different cities are most assuredly not so lax, but that's one thing to love about this community.  Crime doesn't happen here either.

4.     TSHIRTS/COFFEE CUPS:  LOOKS FANTASTIC!!! But at the risk of sounding greedy (which I will admit to), hm, hm, remember who came up w/ the original idea????

I enjoy reading more than posting, but I especially enjoy all the thoughts/concerns/ideas y'all put out there.  You are a fine group of people to care so much about Natalee and her family.

Of course we will take care of you... Our 3% discount is available for everything you buy.... lol ... we will show some good love to all who have helped us out!

It was so much fun seeing Dash..   I thought this would give us a chance to see everyone.   Kinda wierd, but in a virtual way we've grown close.

Just caught Dash on O' Reilly.  She was very impressive as was the young man with her.

arubagirl,

You'd asked last night about the number of FBI on the island and mentioned 38. Apparently, the number is now 9. Technically 7 FBI and 2 Miami Dade search and rescue with dogs.

Bon Nochi everyone...just saw Dash on O'Rielly...pretty benign stuff..she seemed to do well..and he wasnt out of line...anything going on?...I am most afraid that the "volatility" of this situation is wearing down...and the "story" will fade...AiA or Native on?

Is there any way to watch Dash on the Internet?  I don't get the station that has her on it Sad

Maybe in a day or two - looks like they archive his shows, but I imagine they don't show up on the Web site right away.

Well maybe ... Depends whether we get that server, eh tom?

An African American teenager has been missing in our upstate NY city for a couple of weeks-- last seen in the 800 block of a well-traveled street. His decomposing body was found today ... at #817 of that very street, in an abandoned building. How hard do you think the police were looking?

Dash...you and you're friend did a great job! But the piece the O'Rielly show did bring up a couple of questions.

There was footage showing C&C's front with food advertised. Is C&C just a club, or a restaurant as well?

Second, since Dash mentioned that it would be out of character for Natalee to get into a car....I wonder if there was opportunity for the boys to "force" her into the car?

Lastly, I want to add a comment to the apartment that was mentioned a few pages back....the one that is suppose to be attached to the Joren home.
In Florida I've seen a number of apts in homes. While the big ticket homes might have a seperate building that is part of a cabana...but most are just a bedroom as part of the home, with an outside private entrance. So it could be that this apartment is an attached bedroom with a private entrance.......and sadly a good way to Joren to carry on his clubbing etc without much supervision.

Thank you writenow! I was going to point that out too, but let it slide. I kept trying to find something, anywhere, that said there were 58 FBI on the island - all I found was what you just posted. 9

Saw a nice recap of Greta VanSusteren, in Aruba. She and someone from the local newspaper Diario traces more or less the areas where Natalee Holloway might have ended.  Appearanty Joran is suspect number 1.  In the show the guy from Diario cast doubt that Joran was drop off his home because the Kalpoes would not make a deliberate back and fort travel in their car.  i.e Joran lives in the area of Hooiberg and CnC would be in between his house and Holliday Inn....in which Greta added that Joran story suffers from location challenged.  The Diario did add if they were drunk everything is possible.

I am still wondering if the Kalpoes did drop Joran and Natalee near the Marriott...., did they aready know that Joran would get a ride back home?  Unless his care was already at the HI...which would mean someone took him to Cn C that night.  The Kalpoes?

Sorry Red - I didn't mean you archive the show, I meant FoxNews.com archives the show and you can watch old videos on it.

An earlier post has what I think is misinformation about the occupation and wealth of the Holloways. From this article in the Birmingham News Last week:
http://www.al.com/news/birminghamnews/index.ssf?/base/news/1118222305169320.xml&coll=2

"Beth Twitty and her husband, Jug, a manager for Phoenix Metals in Birmingham, have been here since the evening of May 30."

"Twitty, who is a speech pathologist for the Mountain Brook schools and works with 3- to 5-year-olds."

I would say that the Twittys are good, hardworking people who have raised a great girl and are now faced with their worst nightmare.

I'm only hearing music on the radio (TOP).

And right now it's a song that for some reason is more well-known than the national anthem.

Nine? Damn. Some people here *really* can't count. (I mean that I belive the nine. Seems much more reasonable)

Annoying cousin for not meeting me. Not sure that she would have said anything.
