I don't think Mom did anthing at all.....INCLUDING raising her son to be a decent human being with any sorts of morals at all.  That is why I think she deserves to be called a few thousand times a day to "persuade" her to FINALLY do something, like "encourage" her son to have the decency to stop the misery that Natalee's family is going through....

Tell me Brenda is that how they handle situations in Texas.

totally agree bamajo... I think daddy is covering and an accomplice in hiding the evidence. too coincidental that when they got back after Joren's call all three boys were there leaning against the car that they were last seen in with Natalee

Nancy Drew - exactly.  Someone found a copy of "How to investigate a disappearance" in Papiapolicio and they seem to be reading Chapter 1 now.

I mean IF I did hear that correctly wouldn't everyone think they are all involved with some dirty deed and that is why they are all still being held - and where are the Kalpoe's parents.

I've not seen or heard anything from or about the parents.

His parents, well - I figure they are not getting anything "icky" on them like responsibility for raising two sons who would be involved in "an ugly affair" like this.....

Just my thoughts....

Bamabelle, I agree with you.  The more I read from wwizard and others I definately think that young lady hasn't been on that island since the beginning.  The brothers Kalpoe and Dutch bag know exactly "why" she can't be found.  The DEA angle intrigues me.

I agree.  Wouldn't it take more effort and thought to hide/bury her on the island.  I keep saying - she is in the water - Look at Laci - Scott kept his mouth quiet thinking they will never find her and eventually she was found.  I think she was dumped in the water, possibly by the lighthouse.

So they are willing to stay in jail for 100 days and not get convicted since there's not a body- maybe they will rot

that's the thing hope, they won't sit in jail forever, and the authorities are desparate to find something to keep them in jail until natalie can be found.

hi dash.  how you holding up?

I'm with you on that one.  This seems to be that is would have been the first step once they were determined to be suspects.  They should have also been considered suspects long before they were.

trying to catch up...not sure if this has been said....

but if the dogs are in the house...and they hear a beating noise...could be the dogs

when a search dog finds something...they start to beat or scratch on it to alert that something is there

I remember one of the released security guards saying the other night that in jail, they have a bad mosquito problem and the food is terrible.

So you can at least take small comfort in the fact that they're probably not too comfortable.

They said the dogs were outside and then put back in the car to leave while officers were still in the house looking.  Don't know if that's the case, but that's what it sounded like.

and that's another thing that bothers me.  where the heck was deeprak?  does he have an alibi for that time?   i think he was further concealing evidence, hence that all 3 are involved in one way or the other.

Quite often - YES.

We do visit with the parents of misbehaving youths. We do holler at neighbor kids.  By "we" I refer to everyone in the community I live in...and guess what....IT WORKS.  It is amazing the effects on kids if they know ALL the adults are watching them, and WILL have a "chat" with parents as necessary.....
