RUMORS OF BREAKING NEWS # 5

I saw mention of a Emily Jones on a website http://www.geocities.com/proud_college_republican/
which states she had been in Aruba a few weeks before and recognized one of the suspects.
Was there anymore to the story than that?

Fox News just reported that US sent a thermal heat helicopter to Aruba (which was someone posted to this forum yesterday)

I imagine the way they hung out in the casinos and partied, a lot of visitors to Aruba probably recognize them.

Is it possible that Joran called Deepak and Satish, told them that after they dropped him and Natalee off at the beach, he brought her back to the hotel, but now that she is missing he needs to say that they were with him? They, being his friends, KNOW he wouldn't do anything bad, so they agree its okay to say they were all three together when she was dropped off. Now, that they realize their friend could have indeed been involved, they freak out and tell the truth?

Ignore my previous posting. It doesn't make a whole lot of sense, because it doesn't explain how Joran got home afterwards. Unfortunately, it looks like all 3 had to be involved.

It will be interesting to see how the Judge rules today on the petition (or whatever it is called) from Joran's dad.

Does anyone know how long it will take them to test for drugs from the evidence they got yesterday???

They must know something by now from the cell phones and computers.

Plus, and this is NOT to excuse them, whatever happened was not what they intended.  I say that because too many people saw her leaving with VDS and he had to know it.  If you intend to harm someone, you sure don't manage to be the last person seen with your victim.


He many have planned to have sex--even if it meant rape--but I don't think he planned a murder or kidnapping.  He knew she was part of a larger group and not some lone visitor.

Here is my logic: All three had to be involved in the murder, since the Kalpoe brothers had to give Joran a ride home. After seeing that "something bad" had happened, they would have tried to dispose of the body at that point. Thus, all three would have been involved in a disposal of the body.

How closely were those three boys monitored after they were initially questioned?  Could it be possible Joran might have "placed" Natalee somewhere initially; and then, seeing all the publicity, do something else with her?...or is that too farteched?

That is one of the great unanswered questions: how closely the three young men were monitored, after they were initially questioned. When all is said and done, someone is going to write a book, documenting what was done -- and what was NOT done -- in this case.

But that doesn't explain how Joran got home. I changed my mind on that one.

True.  Here's what I firmly believe:

1.  Joran and his buddies are familiar with drugs
2.  Joran and his buddies have slipped other gals this date rape drug.
3.  Joran and/or one of the buddies slipped this into Natalee's drink right before they left.
4.  Natalee was fine at the club - but the Kalpoes have said she was extremely extremely drunk, for lack of a better word.  Where did she do all this drinking exactly?  It was the drug, I'm sure.

Now here's where things get muddy:  I don't know much about white slavery, but folks who do say this is a distinct possibility.  And doesn't it seem like a body would/should have been found by now?  But then, it also seems like these young men would be scared to death, and 'fessed up by now too.   All the different possibilities are confusing.

I'm just amazed that young, first-time offenders can pull something like this off.
